Bend, you showed up in a way we will never forget. 💜

What started as a way to support our neighbors in the wake of an unimaginable tragedy turned into an extraordinary evening of love, generosity, and community.

Together, we raised $223,823 for those affected by the tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary.

To everyone who joined us, donated, shared our message, volunteered, and helped make this possible, thank you. To the Malarkey Family, Sean and Keli Christy, and Andy McDonald, thank you for your incredible generosity in matching donations and helping us make an even greater impact.

We are so proud to be part of a community that comes together when it matters most.

Bend is stronger together. 💜

With love,
The Hawkeye & Huckleberry Team

So many of you outside of Bend have reached out to Brian Huntington Malarkey and our Hawk & Huck team asking how to help from afar. We’ve created a Hawk & Huck GoFundMe to support the families and teachers affected by yesterday’s tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary, including needs still coming to light.

If you can’t join us for Wednesday’s fundraiser, this is another way to give. Every donation and share helps us show up for our community. Thank you for keeping Bend in your hearts.

Donate through the link in our bio.

Reservations are already filling up for our fundraiser this Wednesday, October 21st.

If you’re unable to secure a reservation at your preferred time, PLEASE still come join us. We will do everything we can to make room for you, whether it’s on our patio, in the Huckleberry Lounge, or throughout our other lounge spaces. We’ll make it work.

We want everyone in our community to have the opportunity to come together, show their support, and be part of this special evening. ❤️

Bend, you’ve warmed our hearts. Since our first post about our fundraiser for Silver Rail Elementary’s affected families and teachers in 10/21, the outpouring of support from this community has been incredible.

And now, that generosity is going even further.

In addition to the Malarkey family matching every dollar in restaurant sales, a generous Bend local has stepped forward to match our sales as well.

EVERY $1 SPENT = $3 DONATED.

Join us at Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge on October 21 from 4–9 p.m. for regular dining service with a shared purpose. We’ve already received an influx of reservations, so we strongly recommend reserving your table.

If you’d like to support before Wednesday, stop by during regular business hours to make a donation through a gift card purchase.

Our team will be wearing Silver Rail’s school colors and we’d love for you to join us in wearing them too.💜🩶🖤

Let’s fill the tables and show these families and teachers how much Bend cares. ❤️‍🩹

Our hearts and prayers are with the students, families, staff, and everyone affected by the tragic shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School yesterday.

This coming Wednesday October 21, Hawkeye & Huckleberry will donate 100% of all sales directly to the families affected by this tragedy. The Malarkey Family will also match every dollar in sales with an additional donation, doubling the total contribution.

Every dollar spent will mean two dollars donated.

We invite our Bend community to come together, share a meal, and support our neighbors during this heartbreaking time. 🤍

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY Brian Huntington Malarkey !! 🤠🪩⚡️
Some people walk into a room quietly… and then there’s Brian Malarkey, who arrives at full volume, with 17 ideas and a cowboy hat.
But underneath all that wonderfully unhinged Malarkey energy is one of the biggest hearts around. You are wildly creative, ridiculously generous, endlessly passionate, and the kind of person who makes everyone around you believe a little more in themselves. We’re incredibly lucky to have your vision, your energy, and your constant reminder that life… and restaurants… should never be boring.
Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge wouldn’t exist without you, and it definitely wouldn’t be nearly as loud, weird, wild, or fun. Here’s to another year of big ideas, bigger laughs, great food, questionable decisions, and whatever the hell you dream up next! Happy birthday to the one and only Brian Malarkey. 🖤⚡️

It’s National Dolly Parton Day, y’all!

And it just so happens to be your LAST CHANCE to get our Doley Parton drink, our Dole Whip inspired margarita.

Today only, she’s $13 from open to close. Come raise a glass to the queen herself before she rides off into the Smoky Mountain sunset. Because if Dolly taught us anything, it’s that it costs a lot to look this cheap…. but today, it only costs $13. 💅🏽
