FB Friends!!! I recently returned from an epic adventure to the Owyhee Canyonlands in remote Southeast Oregon. Thanks to my buddy Troy for being a top notch navigator! I had never explored this much acclaimed area of our beautiful state and it lived up to the hype. I'll share several new images in the coming week and will start with this beauty from Chalk Basin, which is on the banks of the Owyhee River. Getting here takes some serious commitment and Troy and I arrived at this amazing viewpoint just as the sunset lightshow began. The alternating layers of light, soft marine sediment and dark, hard basalt with extrusive rhyolite make for surreal patterns and textures. The whole scene was breath-taking. "Mt Hood Eden". FB Friends! Come join me tonight, May 1st from 5-8PM at Patagonia of Bend ( 1000 NW Wall Street) where I'll be unveiling this gorgeous new photograph of Oregon's stunning Mt Hood! This image captures one of the most idyllic scenes I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Sunset light warming the summit of Oregon's tallest mountain, a scene laden with wildflowers and the perfect alpine stream guiding the viewers eyes towards Mt Hood's rocky summit! I'll also be showing several other metal prints and tonight only we have the added benefit of Deschutes Brewery pouring their Organic lager produced exclusively for Patagonia! Mirror Pond, Bend, Oregon. I captured this beautiful sunrise in Downtown Bend a few days ago. I've crossed that iconic bridge thousands of times in the last 25 years and this is one of the
best sunrises that I've experienced from this magical location. Before I add this new image to my website, I'd like to get some title suggestions. Happy New Year to my FB friends! A couple mornings ago I was fortunate enough to find myself atop of Smith Rock State Park near Bend, Oregon. I arrived to a dense fog inversion and climbed above the fog just in time for sunrise!I hope you enjoy my new work and more importantly I hop you all have a wonderful 2026!

FB Friends! I need some naming help for this newest fine art print! I spotted this beautiful Japanese Maple Tree while passing through Portland in autumn. I love the undulating branches, the texture of the bark and of course the brilliant fall foliage. Now... "Mt Hood Wildflower Cascade" This may be my favorite new fine art print from 2025! I captured this during a backpacking trip to Oregon's Beautiful Mt Hood Wilderness. This is probably the best wildflower scene I've ever captured near Mt Hood. The sharpness and density of color in the Metal and acrylic prints of this image will be magical! "Three Sisters and Scott Lake". My favorite time of year to visit Oregon's beautiful Scott Lake is in autumn when early storms have replenished the Sisters with a glistening coating of snow and when the Lake's shoreline glows with fall color. This image is taken facing east towards the Three Sisters, giving this iconic mountain grouping a distinct shape. Please share and comment below with your favorite place to view the Three Sisters!

"Autumn Storm"! Fall is my favorite season.... I love the flurry of temporal color, crisp cool nights and the changing weather patterns which fuel our seasonal progression. While shooting aspen groves along Bend's Deschutes River Trail, I was fortunate to enjoy this storm front passing to the east making for a dark dramatic sky overhead while direct sunlight snuck below the cloud lines to illuminate this beautiful aspen grove at the peak of fall color. "Todd Lake Wildflowers". This summer has been an epic one for wildflowers, specifically Indian Paintbrush in Central Oregon. This beautiful scene was captured in the meadows adjacent to Todd Lake which is located on the Cascade Lakes Highway, not far from Bend. I think of Todd Lake as Bend's playground. It's close to town, easily accessible and.... gorgeous. The loop trail around the lake is about 1.7miles long with little elevation change, making it a pleasant stroll for family members of all ages. This scenic image, filled with Indian Paintbrush and Licorice root features Mt Bachelor in the background as a large storm front approaches. Magically, there was little to no wind while storm clouds merged and intensified, so the focus in the prints of this image are remarkably sharp. I love how this image captures a sense of place. When I think of this beautiful alpine playground, I envision healthy forests of old growth Mountain hemlock, fertile meadows of wildflowers, the pristine waters of Todd Lake and the snow speckled slopes of Mt Bachelor, all of which are captured in this beautiful new landscape photograph of one of Bend's favorite playgrounds!
