Summit High School Performing Arts Department will be hosting our annual Art Night tomorrow, Thursday, April 20, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Commons, Summit High School. This family event is a collaborative effort between our visual art, music, industrial arts and theatre programs to showcase and celebrate the phenomenal talent and progress of Summit High School students. Highlights for the evening include displays of senior Art portfolios and artwork from all classes including graphic design, photography, industrial arts, ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Music throughout the evening will feature Summit’s Americana and band students.
Art Night, at $3 for students and $5 adult admission, dedicates all proceeds to the Art Supply Fund. Keep your eye out for student artwork for sale, Silent Auction items, handmade SHS mugs, face-painting, Italian sodas!
We’ve paired Art Night with the opening of the spring theater production of Holes, which begins at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. Admission to Holes is $6 for students and $8 for adults.
