The Junior Division winner (ages up to 14) of the Amateur Youth Talent Contest held on Saturday is Alyssa Gossman, 14, of Cary. Alyssa sang 'Beautiful Ghosts' from the musical 'Cats'.
Alyssa, along with Senior Division winner, Annabelle Torres, 17, of Popular Grove, will represent the Boone County Fair in the State Talent Contest in January at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs convention in Springfield. Congratulations Alyssa!

We can't thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting this annual community tradition! We hope your time at the fair was an enjoyable family experience.
Despite the weather, nearly 200,000 people of all ages came through the gates. Thank you one and all.
We look forward to seeing you all in 2027... August 10th-15th! Until then be safe and take care.
