✨ A LITTLE SNEAK PEEK! ✨

Mother Nature isn’t exactly cooperating today! 🌧️ Between the dark skies and wet weather, getting outside for some good pictures and videos just isn’t happening.

But I couldn’t wait any longer to share a little peek at this completed beauty! 😍💜

The colors, the shimmer, the details, and those gorgeous little gems… I am absolutely in LOVE with how everything came together! 💜🩵✨

Pictures never quite capture all the sparkle and dimension, but trust me, she’s a stunner in person!

Once the weather decides to play nice, I’ll get some proper pictures and videos so you can see her in all her glory!

🎨 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE REALITY OF HANDMADE ART! 🎨

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t always get seen when you look at a finished piece of artwork. The TIME that goes into it. ❤️

Yesterday, I started this 24-inch beauty. After 8 HOURS of painting, I’m only about halfway done! 😳 And that’s just the actual painting!

What you don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes.

🖤 The hour (sometimes more) of prep work before the first dot even touches the surface.

🎨 The countless hours of carefully placing thousands of tiny dots, one by one.

⏳ The waiting. Ohhhh, the waiting! If a piece needs top dots or additional brushstrokes, that’s another hour or more of drying time before I can even touch it again.

✨ Once the painting is complete, there’s varnishing… and more waiting.

💎 Then comes adding embellishments, if the piece calls for them.

📸 And finally, waiting until everything is completely finished and cured enough to photograph, edit, and get listed for sale.

And that’s not even counting the time spent planning designs, choosing colors, purchasing supplies, or cleaning up the creative chaos afterward! 😂

Sometimes people see the price of handmade artwork and look at you like you’ve grown two heads. 🤪 They see a finished piece and a price tag, but what they don’t see are the HOURS, the patience, the supplies, the trial and error, and the years spent developing the skills to create it.

You’re not just paying for a piece of art. You’re paying for someone’s time, creativity, experience, and a little piece of their heart. ❤️

And here’s the thing…

I LOVE WHAT I DO. Every single tedious, time-consuming, back-aching, eye-crossing minute of it. 😂❤️

Creating brings me a kind of peace that I can’t even begin to explain. So even when I’m 8 hours deep into a piece and still have miles to go, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

And just TRY to stop me from creating! 😘

So the next time you see something handmade, whether it’s mine or another artist’s, remember that there’s so much more to it than what meets the eye.

Handmade isn’t expensive because someone wants to charge more. It’s valuable because of everything that goes into making it. ❤️

🖤✨ Monday Mood: A Little Chaos, A Lot of Creativity! ✨🖤

Happy Monday, my beautiful people! 🖤

It’s officially that time of year when my spooky little heart is happiest! 🎃💀

One thing I’ve learned in my three years of dotting is that creativity doesn’t always follow a schedule. Sometimes I sit down with a plan, and sometimes I sit down with one idea and somehow end up with five projects going at once. 😂

But that’s the beauty of creating. Every piece has its own personality, its own challenges, and a little piece of me in it.

And while I absolutely love the dark and moody side of art, I still have a soft spot for all things bright and colorful. My artistic personality is apparently just as chaotic as the rest of me. 🤣

So here’s my question for you today…

🩷 A Little Pink Reminder for All My Ladies! 🩷

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I wanted to take a moment to remind all the beautiful women who follow my page just how important YOU are! And gentlemen, this one’s for you too! Remind your wives, moms, daughters, sisters, and all the special women in your lives to take care of themselves. 💕

As women, we spend so much of our time taking care of everyone else that sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves.

🎀 Early detection can save lives!

Breast cancer doesn’t always come with obvious symptoms, which is why staying on top of your breast health is so important.

🩷 A few things to remember:

🎀 Women ages 40–74 at average risk are generally recommended to get a mammogram every 2 years, although some medical organizations recommend annual screenings starting at 40. Talk with your doctor about what’s right for YOU!

🎀 Know your body! Pay attention to any unusual lumps, changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, or ni**le discharge.

🎀 If you notice something different, don’t wait for your next scheduled screening. Get it checked!

🎀 If you have a family history of breast cancer or other risk factors, you may need to begin screening earlier or have additional testing.

🎀 Make breast health part of your yearly wellness conversation, even if you’re not due for a mammogram.

Your health matters. Your life matters. YOU matter. 🩷

I’m sharing this pink beauty today as a little reminder that October is about so much more than wearing pink. It’s about awareness, education, supporting those fighting, celebrating survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and encouraging the women we love to put their health first.

So ladies, if you’re due for your mammogram, make that appointment! And men, give your favorite ladies a little nudge to stay on top of their health.

The world needs you here, healthy and thriving, for as long as possible. 💕

So many tiny dots, so many little details, and I am LOVING the finished result! 😍

There’s something about that red, gold, white, and black together that just hits perfectly. And of course, putting my mandala spin on a Chiefs helmet made this one extra fun to create.

I definitely think I need to play around with more pieces like this because this one was way too much fun. ❤️

💀✨ She’s complete! ✨💀

The skull in Sterling Silver is officially finished, and I am absolutely in love with how she turned out. 🖤

I’m still a little sad knowing this will be the last skull I’ll be able to do in this style since my supplier went out of business. Because of that, I really took my time with this one—enjoying every dot and every little detail along the way.

There’s something bittersweet about finishing a piece you know you won’t get the chance to recreate again, but I think she was worth every minute. 🖤💀✨

Now she just needs her finishing touches, and then she’ll be ready to find the perfect home.

🏈 Football season is officially here! 🏈

I’ve had a few requests lately for some football-themed pieces perfect for the man cave, and I’m pretty excited to get started on this one! ❤️💛

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to work on a shaped piece that wasn’t 3D, so this Chiefs helmet is going to be a fun change of pace. The grid is down, the KC is ready, and now it’s time to bring on the dots! 🔴🟡⚪️

And can we just talk about that COLOR SHIFT?! 😍✨ I loooove how the colors change depending on the light and angle. It’s one of those pieces you just have to keep turning around to see what color shows up next.

Today this beauty officially went home, and I’m a little sad to see her leave! There’s just something about getting to turn a piece of furniture into a functional work of art that I absolutely LOVE.

And this color palette?! 😍 It was giving me everything—rich, earthy, dark, moody vibes that spoke directly to all those darker parts of my soul. 🖤🌿🍂

It was an absolute pleasure bringing this stool to life, and the best part is… I’m not finished yet! I’ll also be creating a table for her, and I seriously cannot wait to see the two pieces together.

🎃💀 HELLO, OCTOBER! 💀🎃

It’s officially October 1st, which means SPOOKY SEASON is officially underway! 👻🖤 And you know I am HERE for it!

These two beauties are just a few steps away from being completely finished, and I’m already obsessed with how they’re turning out. 😍 The silver and gold against the black are giving me all the spooky, elegant vibes.

3D pieces like these definitely test my patience, though! 😂 They take so much more time because I have to paint a section, wait for it to dry, turn and manipulate the piece, paint some more… and repeat. And repeat. And repeat. 🤪

But seeing them come together makes every minute worth it. 🖤✨

Now that October is officially here, bring on ALL the spooky creations! 🎃👻💀
