🎧 Volunteer Spotlight: Brian Susko

If you’ve heard a show at the Belt Performing Arts Center, chances are you’ve heard him at work behind the scenes. Brian volunteers as our House Sound Engineer, bringing 30+ years of professional sound expertise to our stage.

By day, Brian works as a post-production sound engineer, taking raw audio and finished video from a production and turning it into a polished, cinematic soundtrack. His work can include cleaning and editing dialogue, recording ADR and Foley, creating sound effects and ambience, and blending dialogue, music, and effects into a final mix.

His toolkit includes industry-standard software like Pro Tools and iZotope RX—and we’re fortunate that he brings that same knowledge and attention to detail to the Belt Performing Arts Center.

Interested in sound engineering as a career? Brian is willing to introduce area youth to this technical profession and provide hands-on training. If you or a young person you know would like to learn more, contact the Belt Performing Arts Center.

Yesterday, Coach Triplett, Keith Hoyer and the Belt football team volunteered to move chairs and tables from the Belt Theater to the Brew Pub to set up for the Theater’s poker fundraising tournament that is happening today. It was their first stop on their way to the park to paint the concession shed. Great student/athletes giving back to the Belt Community! Thanks guys, we appreciate it!

Montana tourism leaders came to Belt for a hands-on rural learning session.

Last week, attendees of the 2026 Montana Governor's Conference on Tourism made a stop in Belt — and we gave them the full experience: Ranches at Belt Creek, the Belt Rodeo, the Belt Performing Arts Center, and Harvest Moon Brewery. Ranch country. Live performance. Cold local brew! Worth the drive every time.

We're grateful for the opportunity to learn, educate, network, and inspire growth and sustainability for Belt and the Central Montana region.
