From hosting weddings, concerts, tastings, spoken poetry, to special private closed events like movie screenings or photoshoots Beloit's newest entertainment and banquet venue makes its home in one of Beloit's oldest buildings. The Castle was originally built in 1906, and enjoys Landmark status in the city's Near East Side Historic District. Gothic architecture and stained glass provide the atmosphere to a building that has been re-purposed for the performing arts, event hosting and banquets. In addition to concerts by the BJSO, various local and touring artists perform in an acoustically stunning amphitheater, complete with a towering pipe organ. The King's Court Players are the resident theater troupe that provide live entertainment during interactive dinner theater performances. Guests can browse through original artwork or enjoy a cocktail in the Bell tower Lounge, overlooking the historically preserved theater. The Castle is available for weddings, banquets and corporate events and provides complete catering services for groups up to 400.

Let’s welcome Bethany Witte-Krantz to The Quill & Cloak: Adult Book Fair.

By day, Beth has her “big girl job”… but by night, she transforms into a writer (with strong raccoon energy 🖤). She creates stories that center plus-size women in sapphic fantasy worlds, bringing representation and magic together on the page.

Originally relocating to Wisconsin nearly 9 years ago, she now calls it home with her wife and their two cats.
