About Allyson Howard
Allyson Howard, 25, is from Mooresville, North Carolina, and has been training in dance since the age of three. As a competitive dancer and soloist, she has earned numerous national titles and received multiple scholarship opportunities while performing and competing in all genres of dance. Throughout her training, Allyson has had the privilege of working with renowned choreographers from across the East and West Coasts.
Professionally, Allyson is a three-time former NBA dancer for the Charlotte Hornets and is currently entering her rookie season as a Carolina Panthers TopCat. Her professional performance experience has provided her with invaluable opportunities to grow as both an artist and educator.
As an instructor and choreographer, Allyson is dedicated to developing technically strong, confident, and well-rounded dancers. Her choreography has earned numerous high overall placements, highest-scoring routines, choreography and entertainment awards, and special judges’ honors at regional and national competitions. She is passionate about creating a positive learning environment that encourages excellence, artistry, and personal growth.
She is honored to be with us at DS and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of dancers through her passion, experience, and commitment to the art of dance.
