Show your support for the St Rose Theatre Company this Wednesday at Fins!! A portion of the money made by those who order food on Wednesday at any of the three Fins locations will go right back into the theater company to support their spring musical, Godspell!

The St Rose High School spring musical, Godspell, is well underway, and it is finally time to buy tickets to see this wonderful group of actors on Spring Lake Theatre stage. This wonderful group of thespians has been working hard and have overcome numerous set-backs throughout this process and are so excited to see everyone see that hard work really does pay off. The Saint Rose High School Pipe Band Dinner is right around the corner and it is the perfect time to buy your own Tastes of Scotland Cookbook. The book is full of authentic recipes and wonderful photography. We will be raffling off and selling books at the dinner, but you can order the book from the link below as well. There is both a digital and print option!

The 2nd Annual St Rose High School Pipe Band dinner will be held at St. Rose High School on Saturday, January 28 at 6pm to celebrate the renowned Scottish literary figure Robert Burns. Food will include traditional Scottish fare from the SRHS Pipe Band's cookbook. Beer will be available for purchase, and BYOB is permitted. There will be a Scottish photobooth set up for pictures with friends and family. The evening will include Cèilidh dancing, performances from local Celtic band Last Pint, the St. Rose High School Pipe Band, professional bagpiper Derek Midgley, as well as a massed band performance at the end of the night for any pipe band members in attendance. Merry Christmas from the Saint Rose High School Arts Council!! We would like to extend a warm holiday greeting to everyone as we share photos from our wonderful Christmas Concert that happened last Thursday. It was an evening that the students in our music program have been preparing for for many weeks. This night of amazing performances was made possible through the work of our wonderful leader, Ms. Weingarten. She led and played in our very own pipe band alongside other faculty members and our guest instructor Mr. Derek Midgley as they opened the show. She conducted and played in the pop instruments ensemble as they played songs new and old. Finally she conducted our chorus as they closed our night of music and warmth with beautiful voices. The students truly put everyone in the Christmas spirit and made all those around feel as though they were surrounded by a warm blanket of holiday joy. After our concert we had our very first Tri-M Music Honor Society Induction where students who had auditioned were presented with their acceptance into this prestigious society of musicians. The newly formed executive board led the induction alongside our chapter leader Ms. Weingarten, our principal Mr. Dougherty, and our pastor Father Ed. Our Arts Council also held the iPad Raffle drawing during intermission and are happy to report that we raised valuable funds that will assist our art students for years to come. Thank you to all who attended our concert and induction and those who donated to these students through the iPad Raffle. Once again Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Save the Date!
The Saint Rose High School Bagpipe Band will be hosting their second annual dinner, January 28th from 6:00 to 9:00pm. This year's dinner will be a themed Robert Burn's Supper which will help support the band's second Scotland and Ireland trip in 2024. It will be a night full of Scottish music, food and beer. More information to come....

The Saint Rose High School Winter Concert will be December 21 at 6:30! The Concert will feature our Pop Instrument Band, our Bagpipe Band, and our Chorus. It will be a night full of wonderful music and your last chance to buy iPad raffle tickets. The iPad Raffle drawing will be held during this concert! Our newly established chapter of the Tri-Music Honor Society will also hold its induction after the concert, so please come and support our talented musicians and singers as they preform and accept their place in the Tri-M Music Honor Society.

The holidays are coming and the SRHS Arts Council’s latest fundraiser is one you don’t want to miss. In honor of our amazing arts programs - art & design, music & theater - we are raffling off 3 new iPads!

We will be raffling off the latest generation iPad in each of the new vibrant colors - yellow, blue and pink. One of each color to represent the 3 amazing arts programs: yellow for the music department, pink for the art department and blue for the theatre department.

This fundraiser will help the St Rose Arts Council raise funds for the upcoming art program events, including the winter concert, arts showcase and spring musical, Les Miserables. Your support will help fund our arts department for this coming year!
