Holler!ween is an annual music festival and costume party in Northern Colorado - Started in 2003 - Hosted by a rouge crew of dedicated volunteers and artists - led by an absolute madman. OUR PURPOSE: To tie the community together with a force of ecstasy and goodwill; celebrating in the wildest of ways, while raising money and awareness for the arts and non-profits in Fort Collins, CO
The first Ho
ller!ween was held on Oct 31st 2003 in Greeley, CO at a club called Insomnia. We then we found the "Red Barn" in north Fort Collins where we hosted V, VI, and VII. The following 4 years were on various Grant Farm CSA fields in Wellington, CO and in 2014, for Holler!ween 12, we moved to Graves Dairy on the Poudre Canyon Highway. Many folks have come and gone offering help, but the heart and soul and financial burden was carried by Michael and Marie Kirkpatrick for 10 years. A chance meeting at La Luz after the catastrophic floods of 2013 brought Michael and Marie (who were ready to throw in the towel after 10 years) to Tony and Kellie Falbo (who had festival blue balls after not throwing the Sustainable Living Fair). With both parties motivated for success, Holler!ween XI was pulled off last-minute and The Kirkpatrick’s have been working with the Falbo’s ever since. With determination and community support Holler!ween will live on! Some folks have criticized our growth over the years, longing for the super-underground and risky days of Holler!ween past, but we believe good things have come from us growing up and in fact, our organizations purpose was inspired by our growth.
