We recently hosted Jomboy Media and We Got Ice for a night of Blitzball.
Four former big leaguers—Chris Davis, Jonathan Lucroy, Cody Allen and Kevin Pillar—got a crash course in the nuances of the game, and it was a lot of fun to watch.

It’s been a wild three weeks since we last met in The Dugout!

Tonight, our students walked into the newly expanded room for the first time—and they were absolutely blown away. Our adult volunteers were just as amazed! We can now comfortably seat more than 200 students, and for the first time ever, we even have a stage!

What a blessing it is to have room for even more students to walk through these doors and hear about Jesus.

Nine years ago tonight, on September 17, 2017, twelve high school students gathered in our living room for a Bible study.

We had no idea what God was beginning.

Nine years later, Home Run Ranch welcomes more than 150 students each Sunday night from 20–30 different schools. We’ve met in our living room, online, outside, at a football stadium, on the patio, in a church, in the garage, in The Dugout—and now in a newly expanded space built to welcome even more students.

Through every season, location and change, the mission has remained the same: open the doors, love students and give them a place to know Jesus.

Thousands of students have walked through these doors. Lifelong friendships have been formed. Lives have been changed. Students have surrendered their lives to Christ and been baptized. And week after week, we have watched God do far more than we ever could have imagined.

Home Run Ranch has never been about a building. It has always been about the students who fill it and the God who continues to make room for more.

Today, we celebrate nine incredible years of the Home Run Ranch Sunday Night High School Bible Study. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for every student, parent, volunteer, worship leader, speaker, donor and friend who has been part of this story.

Happy 9th anniversary, Home Run Ranch!

To God be all the glory—and we truly believe the best is still ahead.
