I cannot emphasize enough how challenging necrosis tissue is to tattoo. Experience matters.

My lovely client had complications after her breast lift surgery that caused healing issues around her native Ar**la and developed necrosis or death of tissue. This can be caused by too much damage to blood vessels which causes lack of oxygenated blood to keep the skin and ni**le alive. Is varies in severity but nonetheless very traumatic experience for anyone to go through. After a few revision surgeries and lots of time for the body to heal, she wanted to improve her Ar**las.

This is her first session with me, laying out the basic shape and colors for her tattoo. Some ni**le enhancement on her left but I don’t want to overwork her delicate skin. She will come back in six weeks to evaluate her healed results which tells so much more information what’s going on under the skin.

For ni**le tattoo artists looking to advance their skills in gender-affirming tattooing.

This 2-hour live Zoom class will focus specifically on masculine ni**le and ar**la design, chest anatomy, proportion and placement following top surgery.

We’ll work through two real cases:

• A complete 3D ni**le design + placement
• Native NAC ar**la enhancement with surgical scarring

We’ll look at pectoral anatomy and chest proportions, masculine ni**le characteristics, bilateral placement, scar tissue, asymmetry, existing anatomy, color and realistic dimension—and most importantly, how all of these factors influence your design decisions.

This is an advanced class for artists who already have ni**le-ar**la tattoo training and experience.

There’s still time to join the live training for Medical Tattooing Foundations: Anatomy, Surgery & Scar Tissue, part of the prerequisite education for the Medical Tattoo Fellowship Program.

This is a three-night live course created specifically for experienced tattoo artists who want a deeper understanding of the medical side of the skin they are working in.

Realistic ni**le tattoos are built in layers.

For my breast cancer clients after reconstruction, ni**le tattooing is intentionally a two-session process. The first session focuses on creating a safe foundation—establishing shape, color, and the base design while being mindful of surgically altered and scarred skin.

At the second session, we build on that foundation by layering color, adding depth, and refining the small details that bring the ni**le and ar**la to life.

Working in two sessions allows the skin time to heal between appointments, helps avoid unnecessary trauma, and gives us the ability to build toward soft, natural-looking results.
