Bleedingham Bleedingham is an annual independent horror film festival set in Bellingham, WA. A panel of NON-participating judges reviews the films for selection and awards.

Shop dark art at The Night Gallery!

Tim Richards art will have dark art originals, prints, and stickers!

aka Sarah Kindl is a printmaker from Bellingham, Washington. She received her BFA from Western Washington University in 2020, and is an instructor and board member at Make.Shift Art Space. Utilizing the traditional hand-pulled screenprint method, Sarah creates her work on a variety of materials and textiles. She is inspired by stories from her childhood, personal practices, and art history when creating her images.

will be selling all sorts of fandom goods! She will have pins, laynards, scrunchies, wallets, plushies, glassware, earrings, tarot cards and more!

will be bringing sparkles for your Halloween celebrations, costume pieces, and making people fancy and gross at their “Glitter and Gore” station!

Noct is an alternative clothing brand, they currently carry shirts and hoodies. Their designs are all hand drawn and hand printed on high quality cotton, for a reasonable price. 20% of all proceeds go to charity.

Originating from the Ozarks, Luuk Honey is a visual artist in the local creative community creating vibrant works of art from murals, to logos and tattoos. Often painting with UV fluorescent colors rendering whimsically imaginative illustrations, with a radiant and dynamic color palette.

Our Story

Call for Horror Film Submissions The Bleedingham Film Festival takes place annually on the weekend before Halloween at the Pickford Film Center and PFC’s Limelight Cinema in Bellingham, Washington. This film festival features indie horror films that showcase the bloodcurdling creativity of filmmakers from WA state and across the world. A panel of NON-participating judges will review the films to judge, score and give each filmmaker critical feedback on their film. For more information, please see our website bleedingham.com/ The award for Best Film from WA state is $1000. Bloodies (Trophies) will be awarded for Best Sound Design, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography, Best Story, Best Editing, Scariest Film and Best Film. Bleedingham Official Award Certificates will be sent to International filmmakers who are unable to attend the festival. If you are a filmmaker specializing in the frightening, spine-tingling, and otherworldy terrors, we invite you to submit your film. Basic Film Submission Guidelines: • Early deadline is June 1, regular deadline by Sept. 1 & final deadline by Oct. 1. (fees differ per category, please see filmfreeway.com/BleedinghamFilmFestival for full details) • There is no limitation on how horrifying and gory films can be, but we do not accept hate rhetoric of any kind. • Submission File Format – 720 p / h.264 / AAC Audio (.MOV file) Film Festival Tickets are $7.50 for Pickford Film Center members, $8 for students, and $10.75 for all other horror fans.
