Some of you are aware of this, but to be sure that everybody is, most of you know Nellie Korn, and her dear mom Meryle  -

Please share this post as widely as you are able, and if you can contribute and/or show up on Tuesday, please do:

Dear Friends of Nellie,

You are invited to attend (and participate!) in a benefit concert in honor of Nellie Korn. If you haven’t heard the latest, Nellie is in the final stages of life following a rapid decline due to stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Nellie’s wish is for her community to hold a concert to celebrate her life in the performing arts and to raise funds for her care. In her words (quoting The Carter Family), “bring me the roses while I’m alive.”

The concert will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th, at Bar211 (211 E Chestnut St) in Bellingham. Musicians are invited to perform a few numbers, and all are invited to attend, share memories, well wishes, and support.

The concert will be live-streamed directly to Nellie’s room at Hospice House.
