Since 2004 The Upfront has performed and taught many unique styles and formats of improvisation. Notably, we are known for our long form narrative shows including our popular murder mystery Hellingham, and other genre long forms Cops 911, Space Trek and many more. We continue to produce and evolve shows each year to further the art of improvisation and keep our community with us on the edge. The U

pfront has hosted events from internationally known improvisers like Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Colin Mochrie, Keith Johnstone and more. Our Mainstage Ensemble has performed and taught at Festivals and events all over North America including: The Chicago Improv Festival, The Vancouver International Festival, The Seattle International Festival, Edmonton’s Improvaganza and more. Our theatre has received the Mayor’s Arts award, been voted “Best Theatre” to “Best Live Comedy” and one of our favorites “Best Date Night” in the Best of the Northwest and Best of Bellingham.
