Become friends with your body. One practice that never fails to humble me is pausing to appreciate my feet. Take a look at the bottom of yours (try it with me!) and notice how small the surface is. That tiny area supports the full weight of your body! Step after step, it carries you everywhere
Think of all the places you’ve gone, all the stories you’ve lived, because your feet said “yes” and carried you there. So much is held and made possible by this one tiny area. Can you take a moment to marvel at that? And, if it feels right, hold or massage the bottom of your foot and send some gratitude towards it for all that it does for you✨
Imagine how your perspective and willingness to care for your self might shift if you took a moment to appreciate a part of your body and what it does for you each day. Thank you eyes for allowing me color, thank you fingers for allowing me to write this message, thank you skin for allowing me to feel the sun and wind. I want to be friends with my body, to see what it does for me and to love and care for it in return. After all, we are in this together till the end!
