TOMORROW—Thursday, April 24—is WWU Give Day!

The WSO is aiming for a big win during the “Lunchtime Crunchtime” challenge (12–2PM), in which the campaign with the most individual donors during that time unlocks thousands in bonus funding. Even a $10 gift can make a huge difference!

With university budgets facing more uncertainty than ever, support like this helps us continue offering the transformative experiences for our student musicians and our community that we are so proud to have cultivated.

Marrowstone is back in Bellingham! 🥳👏 The festival is hitting the road this Wednesday, July 31 for a one-night-only FREE concert at the WWU PAC Concert Hall in Bellingham, WA. We hope you'll join us for this special event, as Marrowstone makes its return to Bellingham, the city that hosted the festival for many years pre-pandemic. 🥰

Joining us for the performance is SYSO alum and world-renowned violinist Simone Porter as the featured soloist for Sergei Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1! Additionally, the performance will include Leonard Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite (1919 version), and Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2.

This Thursday, 4/25 is WWU Give Day, and 11AM-1PM is the $10 WSO Lunch Special! If the WSO gets the largest number of gifts (not dollars raised) *during that window of time*, we will be eligible for over $3,500 bonuses in addition to your support!

WSO friends, we need your help! Thursday, 5/25, is , in which all online donations are partially matched. We are SO CLOSE to reaching our fundraising goals for our trip to Spain in June, but we need a little extra push to get across the finish line. Our campaign has been made eligible for "early giving," so any contribution made between now and the end of the day on 5/25 is eligible to receive matching funds!
