Old glaze materials! We are clearing out all the old materials that have been stored in the back for way too long. When I first opened i took in all the raw materials from 3 different retiring potters. It was worth it for sure - things like I just had to buy chrome for the first time in 8 years... but now its time to clean house and get rid of everything we do not need both from that original influx as well as random bits that we used to use or that we experimented with in small amounts. It is a mix of things that are still available to purchase from CAC or SPS that i am offering at 25% off list price, and things that are no longer around that I am giving away. Last week of classes! A lot of glazing happening by students while members keep working away on new creations too. Of course last classes means it is also Potluck Week - the best potlucks are always pottery studio potlucks so there are tasty treats every day this week.

Whatcom Youth Pride Parade! Saturday 5/30 at 11am. Come hang out with the Burnish crew at 2011 Young St to clap and cheer for the LGBTQIA+ Youth Pride Parade - this is such a fun and easy way you can show your support of the Q***r kids in our town.

I will be there by 10:45ish. Parade starts at 11AM and they move pretty fast so its ok if you are not there right at 11, but don't be too late!

Caught in the wild! Congrats to Marrah .love.clock for this fun and gorgeous installation at The Coffee Shop - it is so fun seeing all your beautiful clocks on the wall this way. Go get a biscuit and check out the options- one of these would make a great mother's day gift...
