WCC Student Recreation Center Whatcom Community College's Pavilion & Student Recreation Center is open to students, faculty and staff. Come get fit with us!

This has been a very exciting student-led project, culminating after several years of planning, design and construction. The facility includes more than 24,000 square feet of new construction and 6,700 square feet of renovated space. View the Pavilion live on our web cam here. Amenities include:

-New fitness and strength training equipment, including cardio machines (with live TV and video capabi

lities), free weights, and more
-Indoor running track
-Balcony-level fitness and stretching areas
-Updated gym for basketball and volleyball
-Two studio spaces equipped with specialized flooring (e.g. wood-sprung floor in second level studio)
-Towel service and upgraded locker room facilities
-Food and beverage services (available to members and non-members)
-And more!

Whatcom Community College Athletics department is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year starting on May 31-June 2nd, the 2024 Orca Spring Pickleball Classic. The event will host over 330 participants just outside of the Pavilion. Come out and enjoy the experience.

This year, we will be having the Orca Athletic Auction online (starts on Monday, May 27th) in conjunction with the tournament. EVERYONE CAN BE INVOLVED. The auction helps to support the five athletic teams at Whatcom Community College. The event helps with scholarships, uniforms, travel, and special events.

You can use this link to sign to register when the auction starts on May 27th. Auction ends at noon on Sunday, June 2nd. Items can be picked up in the Pavilion.
