BE Collective is Back!! Back from a summer break and excited to lead the Bellingham Community in dance on Monday nights once again!
Can’t wait to get back on the dance floor with you folks and drop into the fruits of the summer, what’s ripe, what’s present, and what’s fresh.
For any of you who are new here, the Bellingham Embodiment Collective is led by 4 embodiment facilitators each teaching from a different modality of free-form dance. This is an opportunity to try on and experience the differences and similarities of going into those places of the body that truly allow you to tune-in, embrace, and express what is moving through you in the present moment. We are excited to step into these remarkable practices with each of you.

Aug 19th: Denise Skinner guiding Azul conscious dance
Aug 26th: Danielle Pfaff guiding The 360 Emergence

OFFERED MONDAY NIGHTS: Rotating The 360 Emergence movement labs (Danielle Pfaff), Azul conscious movement (Denise Skinner), 5Rhythms dance (Scotty Lewis), & OpenFloor dance (Kelsey Maloney).

TIME: 7:15-8:45pm

WHAT TO EXPECT:
•Free-Form Dance: let your body explore the different paths of possibility to move and embody the present moment.
•Certified Facilitator: Guided and lead by passionate movement leaders certified in their area of expertise.
•Curated Music: Collective movement is inspired by music that is thoughtfully crafted to create the tone of a dance journey by the certified facilitator and offered to the group through set playlists and live DJing.

It is a practice of liberation. It is a somatic, ecstatic and shamanic dance practice supporting the emergence of living oneness. It is fun, easy, elegant and empowering. It heals. It reveals. Dear Dance Community - here is more information about Chelsea Biklen, the guest teacher who will be facilitating the Dancing Freedom event on Saturday, December 23rd. We hope you can join us as this is going to be a fantastic dance experience! "A teacher once told me that 'our spirit wants to be free, our soul wants to be in a body.' It was in that moment that I realized my entire life’s exploration has been around this question- 'How do I find freedom in a body?' In pursuit of the answer I have been exploring conscious movement for many years, and have found dance to bring about the most freedom. I am a dancer, a community co-creator, a teacher, a student, and a spiritual seeker. I find my own divine remembrance and connection through ceremony, nature, silence, and conscious movement. I seek containers of safety and skilled holding to explore the depths of my own body as a vessel for liberation - and I have devoted my life to creating these spaces for others to explore this as well. Within dance I find deep joy, and am able to stabilize in my own consistent dialogue with spirit and trust in life. This is the experience I yearn to create for others. In addition to being a Dancing Freedom Facilitator, I’m an Ecstatic Dance DJ, yoga teacher, and energy and body worker."
