We invite all Western students to join us and participate in auditioning for performance opportunities, contributing backstage, working in the front of house activities of publicity/marketing or especially attending performances as supportive audience members. The Department of Theatre and Dance strives to serve not only our University, but the greater community at large in the sharing of our artistic visions.

When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse...

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's darkly comic fairy tale mashup throws a giant, a witch, princesses and princes, Jack, his beanstalk, Jack's beloved cow, Little Red Riding Hood - and of course the Big Bad Wolf - into a crepuscular forest filled with magic, lust, broken promises, and wishes gone wrong.

June 5-7 on the Mainstage in the Performing Arts Center

Come see the Coldharts perform their devised piece, Edgar Allan, on May 2nd at 7:30pm in Old Main Theater.

Also come experience their workshop in the DUG theater from 5-7:00pm. The signup is posted outside the theatre office. Overflow seating is available. Overflow students will be able to watch the workshop, but not participate.

Time is running out! Just four shows left to see Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins, directed by Eva Gil. Tomorrow, April 24th, Philip Dawkins will have a talkback with the audience after the performance. Saturday, April 25th, he'll be running a workshop on incorporating mixed martial arts from 4-5:30pm. Don't miss these special opportunities.
