Circus Guild 🤝 El Sueñito
We’re still running on high after such a successful fundraiser with El Sueñito Brewing Company last month. Folks got to know the Circus Guild through our info table & raffle, saw roaming performances throughout the day, and ooh’d and aww’d at a variety show full of our talented members. The team at El Sueñito showed up for us in full support, and so did all of you! We raised over $1000 through donations and purchases of Circo de Sueños, the limited edition beer that was brewed just for us ❤️ Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, performers, and attendees. We are so lucky to have this incredible community around us.

Did you miss out on the party? Never fear - you can still enjoy our special circus beer collab at our upcoming fall shows! We’ll have it on tap waiting for ya.

You’ve never seen a puppet show like this!

Often when people think of puppets, Jim Henson-esque images may come to mind. But imagine if the puppetry was everything—the characters, costumes, set pieces, props, and the stage—all shifting and changing with the story to create an immersive, living world.

Olympia’s legendary puppet crew, String & Shadow, does just that with their widely-acclaimed show, Night at the Grand Opera. And this Sunday you can see this show right here in town at BCG!

We’re thrilled to host this incredible group of artists and their masterpiece of a show on the BCG stage, and we hope all of you will join us to revel in the experience!

If your couch cushions have permanently become crash pads, we have good news: we’ve got actual mats.

If you have a kid in your life that loves the spotlight, our kids circus classes this September are a chance for them to explore a new skill, get creative, and have fun!

Students will learn the basics of juggling, aerial silks, and more, all while making new friends and boosting confidence. Why run away with the circus when we’re right here in town! 🎪

The puppets are coming to the town!

Olympia’s legendary giant puppet crew, String & Shadow, takes performance and puppetry to the next level with their widely-acclaimed production, Night at the Grand Opera.

Set in an old European theater during the golden age of opera, Night at the Grand Opera is a frenzied, candlelit romp. Elaborate, cardboard sets collapse and unfold to reveal Rococo extravagance and backstage drama—bringing love triangles, art-loving flies, and disaffected vermin to life in vivid paper mache. This one of a kind show is a thrilling, comical, and immersive experience you don’t want to miss!!

Vaudevillingham has been going every 15th of the month for 15 years and if you STILL haven't heard of it, think of it as our monthly fever dream of a variety show where the whimsical, strange, and spectacular come together in one glorious mess of talent ✨ 💫 Saturday's show is hosted by the one and only Amica Hunter! ()

Anyone can sign up and perform at Vaudevillingham, so we never know what we'll get! Every show is unique, and not one act repeated. It's our monthly fundraiser event, so every ticket helps fuel the fun that keeps our local circus community thriving. Come see what your talented community has in store!

TWO SHOWS:
7pm - Family Friendly
9pm - Anything Goes

Doors open 30 minutes prior to show.

Do you love Vaudevillingham?

We do, too! Vaudevillingham is a show for the whole community. As a donation-based event, no one is turned away for lack of funds, and we plan to always keep it that way.

Vaudevillingham is our main source of monthly income, helping to keep the lights on in our circus space. While we continue to welcome new attendees in every month (welcome!), the ticket sales simply don’t keep up with the costs of keeping our space open (rent, utilities, labor - and much more). Mix that with the rising costs of ✨everything✨ and the rapidly disappearing funding for the arts across the board, and that leaves us needing asking for a bit of extra help from our friends.

Cue… ⭐️ Vaudevillingham Star Supporters ⭐️
A new program for super star patrons who will help support our monthly variety show, keeping this local gem thriving and accessible to everyone!

The puppets are coming to town!

String and Shadow Puppet Theater (String and Shadow) will be bringing their widely-acclaimed production, Night at the Grand Opera, to Bellingham Circus Guild on Sunday, August 23rd. We are so thrilled to host this incredible group of artists and their masterpiece of a show on the BCG stage, and we hope all of you will join us to revel in the experience!

Set in an old European opera house during the golden age of Grand Opera, Night at the Grand Opera is a frenzied romp through a candlelit night at the Opera. Rococo extravagance is fashioned with elaborate cardboard sets that collapse and unfold to reveal the many great dramas of the opera house (not all of which happen on stage.) Love triangles, converging revolutionary plots, art-loving flies and disaffected vermin are brought to life with cardboard and paper mache.

Spread the word far and wide - giant puppets are coming to Bellingham, and it’s not to be missed!

We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with our friends & sponsors at for their new circus beer release party this weekend at Sunnyland Stomp!

Swing by the Stomp today at 3pm to try this playful new brew and watch some stellar performances! They’ll be donating $2 per pint to BCG. After Stomp, they’re still donating $1 per pint until the beer sells out, so you can come back again and drink for a great cause! Clown around responsibly 🤡🎪🍻
