Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra is looking for a part-time Staff Photographer to capture concerts, rehearsals, summer programs, community events, and the moments in between.

$25/hour | Evening & weekend hours | Part-time

BYSO provides the camera and primary photography equipment. Experience with live event or performance photography is preferred.

What a wonderful way to wrap up another unforgettable summer at BYSO!

Our final week of Summer Camp ended on a high note with Summer Music Institute, where our musicians spent the week tackling challenging repertoire, growing as artists, and connecting with friends who share their passion for music.

Of course, no BYSO summer is complete without a little fun! From our annual water balloon battle to a fantastic final concert, it was the perfect ending to an incredible week, and an amazing summer of music.

We are so proud of every young musician who joined us this summer. Thank you for sharing your talent, enthusiasm, and love of music with our BYSO community.

Our final week of BYSO Summer Camps is here!

Summer Music Institute brings together our most advanced young musicians for a week of challenging repertoire, musical growth, and collaboration. Throughout the week, students have been refining their ensemble skills, learning from exceptional coaches, and preparing for one final performance.

Today they'll take a well-deserved break with one of our favorite camp traditions, Water Balloon Day! 💦

Join us as we celebrate the close of an incredible summer of music at the Summer Music Institute Concert on Friday, July 24, at 2:30 PM. Families, friends, and community members are warmly invited to attend and experience everything these talented musicians have accomplished this week.

Another incredible week of countless memories.

Summer Symphony wrapped up an unforgettable week of music, friendship, and fun!

Throughout the week, our musicians challenged themselves in rehearsals, strengthened their ensemble skills, and experienced the excitement of making music together as a full orchestra. Between electives, laughs with friends, water day, and an unforgettable **Crazy Hair Day**, there was no shortage of memorable moments.

The week concluded with a fantastic final concert, where students shared the results of their hard work with a wonderful audience of families and friends. Every performance reflected not only their musical growth, but also the teamwork, confidence, and dedication they built together throughout the week.

To our students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and families, thank you for making Summer Symphony such an inspiring and joy-filled experience. Here's to a week of music, friendships, and memories that will last long after the final note.

The music continues at BYSO!

Our Summer Symphony camp is in full swing, and it's been an incredible week of music, learning, and fun!

Campers are sharpening their musical skills, making new friends, and experiencing the excitement of performing in a full orchestra. For many, it's their first opportunity to be part of a large ensemble, a milestone that's both inspiring and unforgettable.

Between rehearsals, engaging electives, and plenty of laughter along the way, each day has been filled with growth, creativity, and teamwork.

We can't wait to celebrate all they've accomplished at the Summer Symphony Concert this Friday, July 17. Families and friends are in for a wonderful performance that reflects the hard work, dedication, and joy these young musicians have shared throughout the week.

What an incredible week at BYSO Summer Strings!

During our first week of summer camp our young musicians filled their summer with music, laughter, learning, and new friendships. From rehearsals and sectionals to outdoor games, water activities, and shared moments with friends, Summer Strings was a week full of growth, connection, and joy.

The week concluded with a wonderful final concert, where students proudly showcased everything they had accomplished together. Their performance was a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm they brought to camp each day. It was inspiring to see so many families and friends join us to celebrate their achievements and support these talented young musicians.

Thank you to our students, faculty, staff, interns, volunteers, and families for making Summer Strings such a memorable experience.

Summer is officially in full swing at BYSO!

Our Summer Strings campers are off to a fantastic start!
Throughout the week, these young musicians will build new skills, make new friends, and experience the joy of making music together under the guidance of our incredible faculty.

We can't wait to watch their confidence and musicianship grow as they prepare for their concert on Friday, July 10 at 1:30 a celebration of everything they've accomplished during an unforgettable week of music. We encourage family and friends to come and celebrate!

What a beautiful evening of music and community!

BYSO was honored to once again be part of Bellevue's Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration at Bellevue Downtown Park. Performing for thousands gathered to celebrate has become one of our favorite summer traditions, and this year was no exception.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible students for sharing their talent, dedication, and passion with the community, and to everyone who joined us for such a memorable night. There's nothing quite like seeing music bring people together before the sky lights up with fireworks.

Thank you for celebrating with us, we're already looking forward to next year!
