Children, children. Gather round to listen to a tale of a months in the making project/commission that I have been DYING to share! While I thought I might wait for the reaction video from the recipient, I just can't lol, I will share later when that arrives.
Months and months ago my dear PLF sister, Megan, asked me if I'd be willing to re-create her best friend's childhood bedroom where they shared life, laughter and the 90s and fill it with stickers of their most precious inside jokes. She created a HEFTY list, what a friendship these two have had, it was so beautiful to read. She originally wanted the space to be inside a Doc Marten shoebox, which we found to be unfortunately a costly endeavor.. I improvised and found wonderful miniatures of all sorts of bedroom items and created stickers for the rest and in the end even figured out how to still make it a Doc Marten shoebox!
This is the most precious commission I have ever done, my favorite job by far doing this weird niche business I have created. And I got to know a beautiful human a bit better which made it all that much more meaningful.
Now I just gotta find the right box to ship this masterpiece in!
I wish I could think of way to list such an idea but seriously, if you have an idea of something that may sound out of the ordinary and you're not sure how to make it real, hit me up. We can dream it together and make it a reality.
