Any attorneys here who can help a very close friend with a dilemma?
She was transporting a dog from a licensed rescue to its new owner, when the new owner started roughhousing with it and got bit pretty badly on her hand. She is now suing our friend, her mom (who was just sitting in the car during the transport) and the Detroit dog rescue  where it came from.
Our friend is not working, and was just helping out a rescue in need.  She cannot hire an attorney. I’m hoping one of my friends is compassionate enough to help pro bono, or low cost.

Update: these two were picked up last night.

These two extremely friendly female chinchillas are looking for their new, furever home. Super low adoption fee… Comes with everything they need, including a large enclosure on wheels!
Tons of extras included. Please send me a private message or call. The last chinchillas we had (two weeks ago) were adopted out within five minutes of my posting them.

Yes, it’s another chelonian rescue this morning. We received a phone call from the sweetest couple about a “humongous” turtle that was entering their koi pond. They were so sweet, that we decided to stop our morning routine and drive out to them to assist. Thanks Don and Donna for the 1 hour memorable visit!
