🎉 FUN FACT FRIDAY! 🎉

Did you know our Fair Office Manager, Debbie, has been a part of the Wayne County Fairgrounds family for 18 years? That's nearly two decades of dedication, hard work, and helping make the fair a success year after year!

As we kick off our new Fun Fact Friday series, we'll be sharing interesting facts about our fairgrounds, our employees, and the rich history of the Wayne County Fair. There's so much that happens behind the scenes, and we're excited to give you a closer look at the people and stories that make our fair special.

✨Meet Debbie! ✨

I’m Debbie I’ve been with the Wayne County Fairgrounds for 18 years.

I moved to Belleville 1969. I’ve lived in Texas, South Korea and Nebraska. Thanks to the Air Force. I have a senior cat Riley and 2 daughters and 3 grandsons, who call me Mimi.

My favorite thing about working at the fairgrounds is meeting so many people. Some of our campers have become like family to me.

I enjoy working outside in my pollinator gardens and tinkering with my John Deere mower. I love spending time with my family and grandson whenever possible they are my world.

Work Bees! 🐝
Hey exhibitors, parents, volunteers, community members, we have a roll off dumpster that needs filled work bees are as follows
Monday 6/8 @5:30 -?
Tuesday 6/9 @2:30 -?
Wednesday 6/10 @2:30 -?
We need to clean all debris around the fence line in Horsey world and along McBride. Please try and make it out 1 or 2 days. Please respond if you can make some of these days, then it will be beautiful for Learners Day! The roll off dumpster is in front of Barn 1 look for Cody Styrk he will get you started.

Hi all,
Unfortunately due to incoming weather we have decided to cancel and move the date for the First Annual Frank Rochowiak Car, Tractor, and Semi Truck Show from tomorrow June 6th to October 24th. However the carnival is still going on and will be happening starting today all the way through Sunday. We will be going live to do the raffle drawing and you do not need to be present. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. We look forward to seeing you all during fair week and on October 24th!!
