The Rink at Talleyrand is OPEN!

In order for the rink to be open for the community as often as possible, we ask all skaters to be mindful about its conditions and signage. Please follow these rules for a successful season:

Rules and Reminders:
1) Skate at your own risk. The ice isn’t 100% smooth like an indoor rink. There is no Zamboni.
2) Bring your own skates. There are no rentals at this time. (No shoes allowed on the ice unless it’s to accompany a child.)
3) Children under 12 should be supervised by a parent or guardian.
4) Please stay away from the sides of the rink to ensure the liner does not get damaged by skates.
5) No food and drinks in the rink.
6) If there is a lot of snow on top of the ice, please do not skate. Volunteers will work as fast as they can to remove the snow.
7) Rubber mats line the walkway from the park promenade. Consider bringing a folding chair or camp chair to sit on while lacing up your skates.
8) When you see the “Temporarily Closed” sign back up, please do not get on the ice. This prevents damage to the rink.
9) Use the hashtag when you share your photos.

What another great season for Bellefonte Victorian Christmas! We have so much gratitude to share.

First and foremost to our sponsors: Your support helps us continue to hold and grow the event.

Our advertisers: Your support was evident in our guidebook publication. If you haven't yet already, we encourage you to check out all they have to offer.

Our local county and borough government: You provide the oversight and support needed to utilize our public spaces.

Our local police and fire companies: You both serve and protect all year long but provide additional support during the holiday season.

Our local churches: You open your doors to offer beautiful spaces to hold the sounds of the season each year.

As the weekend's events wrap up, we hope you'll come back next year for the 44th annual Bellefonte Victorian Christmas 🎄❄️

We, along with The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, would like to welcome you back to no matter the season.

In the spring, the area bursts into life. The summer is a season of vibrant energy and outdoor festivities. is transformed into a breathtaking canvas of vibrant colors in the fall. Which all brings it back full circle in the winter as snow blankets the region and Bellefonte Victorian Christmas returns.

With numerous antique stores and gift shops, and several charming bed and breakfasts, you'll find a diverse range of experiences in Bellefonte throughout the year.

While you're here, stop into the Happy Valley satellite visitor center in the Bellefonte train station.

Our Mayor would like to welcome you to our 2024 Victorian Christmas Celebration 🎄

"I am Buddy Johnson, the proud Mayor of Bellefonte. My family and I would like to welcome all to our beautiful borough and we hope that this year's festivities create special memories for you and your loved ones. Happy Christmas."

The Opening Ceremony will begin with a gathering at 6 p.m. on December 13 on Howard Street outside the Miles-Humes House, followed by:
-Christmas Carol on the Rails at 7 p.m.
-Welcome & Proclamation at 7:15 p.m.

We'll then move over to Bellefonte Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m. for a musical celebration!

Thursday night the Nittany Valley Symphony got together for their final rehearsal before the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas concert on Friday at 7:30 at the Bellefonte Presbyterian Church.

To help keep their energy up, the following restaurants donated pizzas so the symphony could have some dinner before their late practice:

Ho ho ho! Santa's coming to town. Don't miss his arrival at 11:45 a.m. on December 14 at his House on Diamond in front of the Court House.

Santa’s House will be open and ready for visitors from noon to 4 p.m. on December 13 and 14.
