We seek to provide an environment where families can learn, explore, and appreciate God’s creation.

Through animal encounters, educational experiences, and time spent in the beauty of the outdoors, we aim to nurture a sense of gratitude for all God made. We are a family-owned zoo near Bellefontaine, just northwest of Columbus! Private tours are $20 a person for small groups, but for larger groups please reach out to us for group pricing. 🐐 Imagine scheduling your tour with your family to the zoo. It’s a beautiful sunny day, there’s lots of amazing unique animals and everyone’s having a blast. When suddenly… a goat gives birth to not 1… not 2… but 3 babies!!! 👶👶👶

🎉That is exactly what happened to a group earlier this week! We made sure to give mom privacy, but our visitors were taking guesses as to how many babies they think she would birth.

🖤🤍 The moment we’ve ALL been waiting for… 🖤🤍

Drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁

Our zebra baby has been born! 🎉🦓

We are so excited to welcome our new friend to the zoo. Baby is only just a few days old and we aren’t sure of the gender yet. What do you think? Is it a baby boy💙? Or a baby girl🩷?

❓What do you think we’ll name our newly arrived baby? Our current zebras are Zipper, Jailbreak, Zorro, and Bandit.

You can come see the baby next weekend at our Parents Day celebration! 6/13 from 12-4, it’s by reservation only so be sure to book your spot sooner than later! We can be reached via email: [email protected] or our website!

🧘‍♀️Not sure if this is what they meant by goat yoga, but it sure is cute!
In all seriousness though, our Ibex are very shy friends and like to keep their distance from guests. Their horns are very sharp and we like to make sure both they and our guests are safe!

🐐Gigi and Beatrice on the other hand though… will GLADLY jump all over you and follow you every where you go! 😉

☀️Our Ibex are beautiful creatures and just had twin babies recently! You can see them at our upcoming events: Parents Day 6/13 or the Volunteer Event 6/20!

🗓️These events are by reservation only! Parents Day has special group discounts and the Volunteer Event is free! Just remember the volunteer event is a serving work day and isn’t a day to roam about the zoo, but you do receive a complimentary pass to come back and visit the zoo for free!

🦙You’ve probably visited us before at our big events and tours, but have you ever wondered what life was like on the daily?
There’s a lot that goes into keeping this zoo up and running smoothly, and quite honestly, things are getting crazy!

☀️Our busy season has already picked up and we’ve got some amazing summer events coming up here, but we need YOUR help again! 😉 This community pulls through every time, and we are looking to you again!

🗓️June 20 from 11am-3pm we are hosting our very first community volunteer event! This is our way to bring the community together and bring opportunities to you to see our lives from the inside. You will be given a task around the zoo to help our animal friends get ready for this summer!
🆓Sign up is free and is to help us with some tasks around the zoo in preparations for this season, and you’ll receive a complimentary FREE pass to use on another day! This also is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking for service/volunteer hours!

🐾 COMMUNITY WORK DAY AT THE ZOO! 🐾
Calling all animal lovers, gardeners, and DIY enthusiasts! We are hosting a Volunteer Work Day and would love your help getting the zoo looking nice. Whether you have a knack for building, a green thumb, or just don't mind getting your hands dirty, we have a job for you!

📅 When: Saturday, June 20th from 11-3 🎟️ The Perk: As a huge thank you for your hard work, every volunteer will receive a FREE future zoo visit pass to use on any other day!

We are assigning jobs as people sign up, so let us know what caught your eye:

The Muscle: Power washing & mucking out a stall 🧼

The Builders: Helping construct two new doors 🔨

The Green Thumbs: Weeding, mulching, planting lettuce, and planting sunflower seeds 🌻🌱

The Detailers: Cleaning & painting bird cages, or washing windows 🧼🪟

The Animal Crew: Brushing the camels! 🐪

The Organizers: Sweeping out the hay loft 🧹

Twins! 🎉🩷

Meet our newest friend at En Gedi Zoo! These are Ibex Goats. Ibex are strange, timid wild goats. Here are some fun facts about them:
5️⃣ There are 8 species of goats, and 5 of these species are Ibex Goats (some scientists debate that there are 4-6, so we’re generalizing😉)
🐐They are related to goats, but also bison, antelope, cattle, sheep and buffalo!
🩷💙 They are social herds, but will live only with other same-gender goats. The males in one group and females in the other. They will only gather together during the mating season.

Our goats are very timid, but have very silly personalities as you’d expect with mountain goats. They love climbing and jumping, so we make sure we have very tall fences to ensure their safety!

Holding Crystal Dille and famiy close in our hearts today as we remember Clarajane on her special day. Our little goat Clarajane brings us so much joy, and we love that she carries such a beautiful name and legacy. Sending you all our love.

Parents, caretakers, gaurdians, you all are so wonderful! Each day, you set aside your own interests to support, guide and provide for the little hands that reach out for yours. 🤝

That’s why we want to have a celebration for all those who help and have helped take raise children. ❤️

Parents, you do it all! 🎉

We want to celebrate YOU this summer! June 13 from 12-4 pm we will have slots available for your family to sign up and meet the animals. There will still be plenty of baby animals to see too.😉

Thank you moms, dads, guardians, and all the other caretakers in our lives that have stepped up and sacrificed everything for us. 🩷 You are all superheroes!
