En Gedi Ridge Zoo We seek to provide an environment where families can learn, explore, and appreciate God’s creation.

Through animal encounters, educational experiences, and time spent in the beauty of the outdoors, we aim to nurture a sense of gratitude for all God made. We are a family-owned zoo near Bellefontaine, just northwest of Columbus! Private tours are $20 a person for small groups, but for larger groups please reach out to us for group pricing. Join us for an afternoon of fall fun! Bring the whole family, invite your neighbors, and come make some amazing memories with us while supporting your favorite local zoo and others in the community. Bring gently used children’s clothes to donate to our friends at Raising Arrows!

Whether you’re watching our zebras hang out, catching the kangaroos on the move, or getting a little goofy with the baby goats, everything is better with your favorite herd. (And don't worry, our camels promise not to judge your squad's group selfies too much!)

🐾 Get ready for a wild weekend at the Zoo!
Every day, our dedicated team gets to care for an amazing family of animals! From watching our kangaroos bounce around, keeping up with our high-energy zebras, to preparing specialized treats for our sharpest residents, the porcupines—there is never a dull moment caring for these incredible creatures.

We love sharing their worlds with you, and this weekend, you can join the fun for a great cause!

🎃 Pumpkins for a Purpose
• 📅 When: This Sunday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🎟️ $20 a person includes:
• 🦘 Personal Animal Encounters: Get up close with our star residents—including the kangaroos, zebras, and porcupines—and feed them some animal-friendly snacks provided by the zoo!
• 🎨 Pumpkin Pals: Decorate a pumpkin that we will deliver to bring autumn cheer to residents at a local nursing home.
• 🍬 Candy Station: Grab some sweet treats while you explore.
• ❤️ Giving Back: We are proudly collecting donations to support our local charity partner, Raising Arrows!
Come out, hand-feed the animals, and help us make a difference in our community. See you there!

🦨 FEBREEZE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. 😂
No hesitation. No looking back. Just a fluffy little skunk casually stepping off the porch like he has important business to attend to.
And honestly… he probably does. 😂
🌿 Did you know? Skunks are mostly nocturnal and have an incredible sense of smell and hearing, which helps them explore and find food. Their eyesight, however, isn’t nearly as impressive—they don’t see very well at a distance!
So when Febreeze heads out to patrol the yard, that little nose is doing a LOT of the work. 👃🦨

Febreeze:
✔️ Porch exited
✔️ Nose activated
✔️ Yard inspection underway
✔️ Air freshener… questionable

​There’s a cute little stinker in town! We’re thrilled to introduce Febreeze, our adorable new striped skunk.

​Before you hold your nose, check out a few fun facts about striped skunks:

​🌙 Night Owls: They are primarily nocturnal, loving the nightlife!
🦗 Nature’s Pest Control: As omnivores, they eat a little bit of everything—including garden pests like insects, grubs, and small rodents.
✨ One of a Kind: Just like fingerprints, every skunk has a unique stripe pattern!
