Foxman Music UPDATE: Song #11 towards my upcoming 8th album release is called 'Tampa Bay'. It will be a fun musical postcard for the entire area. My goal for the new album is 12 songs, so there is only 1 more to go after this tune. If all goes well the new album will be released later in the year around the holidays. Foxman Music UPDATE: Next song up is Tampa Bay, which is a remake of a song I wrote a while ago called C’mon Tampa Bay. I have decided to redo the verses & to keep the ultra-catchy chorus section as well as most of the original structure & chords. The original kinda focused on taking a girl on a first date to a Rays game, this version will be more like a musical postcard for our area of Florida. This is song #11 towards my upcoming 8th album release. My goal is 12, so I am almost there. 😎

Foxman Music UPDATE: I am making some awesome progress! I just began working on song #11 towards my upcoming 8th album release. My goal is to have 12 new songs, so there is only one more left to go after this one. Here is a quick recap of the first 10 songs 😎

1) Bum Scummin - Officially released in Feb 2025 & available at all streaming/download platforms. This song was inspired by my background acting role as a homeless person in the Independent film Killer Grannies. C'mon man can yah spare a dime ...

2) Bad Feeling - An EPIC Punk Rock/Grunge Rocker about that feeling of impending doom. This song will be track #1 on the album! This is the first song I worked on using my new PRS guitar. Bad Feeling should become a hit song!

3) Open Road - An introspective, thought provoking emotional song about leaving the past behind (in the rearview mirror) as you drive forward & reflect back on everything. This song has a very big, powerful chorus section.

4) Headin' Out - An upbeat 1950's inspired Retro-Rocker. Crank up the jukebox & put on your dancing shoes. Old school vibes

5) Son Of a Gun - An ominous old school Western themed song about an outlaw on the run. Tumbleweeds, oil wells, sweltering heat & a killer in the streets. The law is on his tail & it will culminate in an unforgettable ending. EPIC storyline & very unique song. The mood is perfect ...

6) Rainy Day Serenade - This song is just excactly what the title implies. It is a very simple, heart felt love song. Catchy lyrics, chorus & melody. A chance meeting at a quaint sidewalk cafe under an umbrella in the rain. Yes, there is actually rain falling.

7) The Devil's Ballroom - A blistering Hard Rock instrumental featuring Dennis Stadelman on lead guitar. What's on the menu .... decadence, debauchery & all 7 deadly sins. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out the inspiration for this song idea. Greed ....

😎 Where Did They Go? - This song was inspired by some old episodes of The Twilight Zone. Very fun, unique storyline & groove. A journey back in time ....

9) Mr Swampy - My first dabble with the blues. This song is a fable. Florida Everglades, snakes, gators, bullfrogs, moonshine & the hero of our story Mr Swampy! This is one of the best songs I have ever written. It will be a hit & probably track #2 on the new album.

10) Ghost Train - A very ominous folklorish song. The preacher warned us about those sins. You better heed those warnings before it's too late!! When that Ghost Train arrives, it is already too late to beg for mercy. Another EPIC song with an unforgettable storyline. May be my best vocal song on the entire album. This tune will either be directly before, or after, The Devil's Ballroom on the album.

11) Tampa Bay - If all goes well this song will be a musical postcard for the entire Tampa Bay Area. Very picturesque lyrics & a catchy chorus section. Eat your heart out Jimmy Buffett. The sun is shining down, its a beautiful day. Go RAYS!!

Foxman Music UPDATE: My ears were burned out & I desperately needed to slow things down a bit. The patience has paid off! I am making some solid progress with this song. The lyrics are completed as well as the music for all the sections (I just have to pull it all together, keep it under 5 minutes & work out a few fills here & there, etc). I have also started to dabble with the percussion track. The song tempo will be 101 & it will be in the key of E Minor/E Minor Blues. The chorus section for the song is EPIC! Makes me think of Johnny Cash. It will be a very unique & haunting, folklorish tune.

I should have the percussion track recorded within a week or so. After that comes the finger picked acoustic guitar (central instrument) & scratch vocals followed by bass, keys, lead guitar & effects.

*** This is song #10 towards my new album. My goal is 12 new songs. I will have to double back when all the music is completed & do the final vocals for all songs. After that I move on to the final mixes, album graphic design, etc. I am hoping for an album release in late 2026!! 😎

One of Tampa Bay's most unique & creative, underground songwriters. I am currently working on my 8th Independent album release. I write all the lyrics, sing all the vocals & play all instruments (guitars, keys, bass & percussion).
