What a beautiful day for an end-of-year picnic 🧺🍉🌭🐜

We had such a lovely dance season and we love celebrating it as a family! Though we’re missing a few families, we had a blast!

Our dancers made the yearly scrapbook for the studio, which we LOVE! We had some yummy food and great weather to play ☀️☀️☀️

Now we can take off the rest of June and get ready for our summer camps in July! We hope to see you there! Message us if you have any questions on camps or information for our 2026-2027 dance season!

We danced our hearts out for our 2026 annual showcase “Last Dance” this past weekend!! 💜🩷💚🩵

It was such a special show filled with smiles, laughter, music, and most importantly family! There was a feeling of love within the auditorium and we are so grateful for our R.A.D.A. dance family!

Each year we take a “family picture” with the whole auditorium, since they make Rise Above Dance Academy so special!

Each one of our dancers crushed their routines that they worked so hard on and we had an amazing ceremony at the end where each dancer got recognized for their outstanding work!

We love seeing the improvement in each person as, not only a dancer, but a person! We believe dance is more than just a 3 minute routine. It is about building confidence and recognizing your true potential 🫶🏻

Thank you to all of those who made “Last Dance” such a success. The backstage helpers, people running the music and lighting, and everyone who assisted in the show; this show wouldn’t have happened without you all!! Thank you also to for the beautiful flowers for our studio and backstage helpers! They were a huge hit and made everyone feel so special💐

Miss. Angelina is so so SO proud of each one of her dancers and cannot begin to explain how important each one of them are to her. She has so much love for them all and can’t wait to do it all over again next year💜

As we take a short break, we are already thinking of summer classes 🤩 These camps start up in July where we will be dancing through the rest of summer☀️🍉🕶️

T minus 2 hours before our dancers hit the stage to perform what they have been working on this whole year! 💃🕺🪩

On celebration of today, we are showcasing our senior Ashley Plavchak💜

She truly embodies what RADA stands for and everyone looks up to her. We wish her nothing but luck in the future and hope she enjoys her last showcase as a senior!

A note from Ashley:
Thank you R.A.D.A for truly the best last 2 years and for the best teacher I could have ever asked for over the past 4. Thank you for all the friendships, memories, and jokes that were made along the way. Thank you for being like my little sisters that I could always mess around with. Girls, never give up your love for dance. Every time you’re on stage remember you’re almost done. Mom and dad, thank you for supporting me as I danced. God, thank you for the gift of dance, for helping me grow not only as a dancer but as a person, and for guiding every step I took. As I look ahead, I trust that God’s plan for my future is greater than I can imagine, and I am excited to see where it leads.

Even a power outage couldn’t stop these dancers from CRUSHING it at their dress rehearsal today 🔋💧🌧️

Despite Mother Nature, our dancers came with smiles on their faces and made the best out of it. Luckily the power did come back on and we were able to rehearse on the stage!

We have such a supportive community and these few pictures capture that perfectly 💜Even our minis were dancing with the older girls as they watched🥹

We are so happy that we were able to end our 2026 season with such an inspiring and uplifting competition!

The way our dancers were all laughing in the hallways and having a great time dancing was so special to see!💜🩵💜🩵
