Hello guitar students and enthusiasts!

One of the best things one can do to alleviate finger pain and build calluses, is to concentrate on light scales. Begin with a simple C scale. Then, continue from there.

By doing so, you shall be able to gain strength and stamina as well as strong, thick calluses over a short, reasonable amount of time.

Práctica Determinada

Para tomar una falseta o una pequeña sección de pieza musical y perfeccionarla es mucho más importante practicar repetidamente que repasar algo que ya es bien conocido por el músico.

Es incluso mejor pasar por escalas que normalmente pueden llevar horas de práctica a diario. Hacerlo en lazo es lo necesario para ser perfeccionado y lo que se necesita para practicar a fondo lo que se debe perfeccionar. Luego, uno debe pasar a la siguiente falseta o frase de una pieza musical.

Determined Practice

Taking a falseta or a small section of a piece of music and perfecting it is far more important to practice repeatedly than to go over something that is already well known to the you.

It is even better than going over scales that can normally take hours of practice on a daily basis. Looping is what is needed for the phrase to be perfected and it is what is needed to be practiced thoroughly in order for that phrase to be perfected.

Then, one must move on to the next falseta or phrase in a piece of music.

Looping Technique

After determined practice to perfection of a certain falseta, ‘lick’ in the English vernacular, or small phrase or section of a piece of music, that certain piece of music is then reapplied to a palo, or form, from which it was first extracted.

It is like repeating a musical track, however, it is the musician who is doing so by playing the phrase repeatedly until it has become habitually ingrained in the fingers as well as the mind’s memory.

It is then looped so that it is not only repeatedly practiced but also able to make sense of what is being copied or composed by the musician.

La Técnica del Bucle

Después de una práctica determinada a la perfección de cierta falseta, 'lick' en la lengua vernácula inglesa, o una pequeña frase o sección de una pieza musical, esa pieza musical se vuelve a aplicar a un palo, o forma, de la que se extrajo primero.

Es como repetir una pista musical, sin embargo, es el músico quien lo hace al tocar la frase repetidamente hasta que se ha arraigado habitualmente en los dedos y en la memoria de la mente.

Luego se coloca en bucle para que no solo se practique repetidamente, sino que también pueda dar sentido a lo que está copiando o componiendo el músico.
