The Houston Tidelanders Chorus is an all-male chorus, singing a ca****la in the 4-part barbershop harmony style. Our audiences love our varied repertoire – a little comedy, a little throwback; a little inspirational, a little spiritual; a little classic croon, a little patriotic – almost as much as we enjoy performing for them. We are members of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and we are a 501c3 n
on-profit educational organization. Our mission includes preserving and performing an American artform, continuously educating our members toward musical excellence, supporting our community and encouraging the musical development of youth. We are always looking for new singers. Our members are at all different skill levels -- some are new to singing in harmony, some have years of experience. Our rehearsals include perfecting new music, improving vocal production, and mastering interpretation and performance techniques. We rehearse most Monday evenings (7:00 to 10:00) at ChristChurch Presbyterian in Bellaire. Although we’d prefer you to sing with us, all are welcome to visit, listen, or sing.
