Haven’t been in my studio in a few months. Between health stuff and printing on my new 3D printer, just didn’t have time.

Today I FINALLY went into the studio and did a split base dutch pour.

Thoughts? It’s on a 24x24 Level 2 canvas.

I got a Bambu Lab 3D printer for my birthday. Been doing some orders and messing around with it (these printers are freaking AMAZING! 🩷

Now that I am getting the hang of the printer, program, filament, etc…. I am going to start making things for fluid art (tools like split cups for example) and I am going to start making stencils for resin (kind of like what Pour Away Fluid Art does, but mine will be thicker and stronger so the stencil stays in place and will be taller for less mistakes)… Going to start making fluid art stuff tomorrow and will start taking orders sooner than later. 😊

I am excited to say I have some things in the works… I got my 3D printer today and all hooked up. Will be making tools and stuff for paint pouring and will be available on the website my brother is going to make for me.

I will be adding these wonderful watercolors to my fluid art painting, as well as Swarovski crystals. Just got a huge shipment from Swarovski Crystals a day or two ago… As for these AMAZING watercolors (that ARE opaque), will be adding more bling to paintings.

If you see the price of the watercolors, it may shock you; but a little goes a long way.

I was in a rut and basic paintings were no longer doing it for me… I decided I wanted to add more to my paintings… Who doesn’t love bling?! So, between the opaque watercolors to texture to genuine Swarovski Crystals to more…. I am taking my fluid art to another level and excited about it again! 🩷

Happy painting my friends… Content will start back up within the next week. 🩷

Best day ever! I have a little Yoda wallet I put all my gift cards in. Was going through the gift cards and tossing the ones with a $0 balance.

Came across a Michael’s gift card. Thought to myself, likely only a couple dollars left on it - and almost tossed it. I decided to check the balance and it had $300 on it… Plus I had another one from Christmas with $100.

I just had a grand time ordering from Michael’s… Got a bunch of Golden 128oz tubs of gel, texture paste, and soooo much more.

Love days where I find I have more $ than I thought. 🩷

Another FAILED attempt at a dutch pour. I had to take some time off for multiple surgeries/recoveries, and I swear I forgot how to do a dutch pour. 😔

I did not want to scrape it, but pretty certain it is getting painted over (the orange will dry much darker thank God). 🤦🏼‍♀️

So, my package with my new hairdryer has been driving around on a truck since Tuesday. Get a message yesterday saying, “Could Not Deliver Due to Obstruction in Driveway or Front Door.”

My son comes in from outside holding a package. I have NEVER gotten in my car and driven to the cluster mailboxes as fast as I could and block the mail truck in. As fast as I came flying around the corner and flying out of my Jeep, I am sure he was thinking WTF! 😂

End result, I got both of my packages. 👏 He was new, given 0 training; and had no idea that Black Diamond Street does not have cluster boxes. We have to drive 2 blocks over and 2 blocks down to get our mail. He learned something new, and I even got a hug! 😊

Since I am STILL waiting on my blowdryer to arrive, figured I would mix up 4-6 bottles of the pouring medium for the Bloom Technique. 😊

Please do not hate me - I still have the OG Behr 8300 (6 gallons actually).

Tomorrow is another mixing day until I get my dang package.

Waiting on the mail to deliver my new hairdryer since my purple one is only good for small canvases, I hate the Flower by Drew Berrymore (just my personal opinion).. So, I ordered a new one that is 1850 watts.

Here is my inspiration photo, and colors I will be using. Now to decide what size canvas I want to do a dutch pour on. Thoughts? I pretty much have every size imaginable.

After some suggestions, I will do the dutch pour on an 18”x20” canvas. 😊
