Here's how we'll play this game, tell your friends.

Im happy to sell things in batches of 5. Minimum order of 5 at their current prices.

Examples:

5x Sitka Tops
10x Indian Rosewood
15x Padauk
20x Richilite Fretboards, ETC.

I wont do this for Orphan Backs, and just post those on Ebay at current market prices.

Sitka Spruce: for $35/top thats a steal. Great for someone who has a lot of students or production work.

Ill be putting together a Google Drive Folder for those interested in purchasing my inventory.

I would prefer to start with wholesale pricing only, meaning either selling the entire lot, all of the tops, or backs/sides, etc. Any individual piece buyers, I will announce when im ready to sell pieces individually if im ready to do so at all.

Ideally, im not selling one piece at a time. For me to package, ship, and juggle buyers for one piece at a time seems like a nightmare id rather not deal with. Id really rather give a wicked wholesale price and ship a pallet.

Its with great peace to announce the indefinite hiatus to Blackworm Instruments.

Theres a lot of things that lead to this moment, and its been a decision made with careful consideration against the greatest challenges of all: Time, and Money.

Frankly, a lot has gone on over the last 9 years: 6 shop moves/rebuilds, 7 housing moves, and countless challenges that come between the blur of life itself. The things I've faced made BWI a homing beacon: the light-up buoy in the dark ocean storm. Its me, tooth and nail.

Theres a point in time in everything where you either give it all, or give it up. I've fought the former for so long, that the latter won, and I accept that. Its a decision that comes with peace, grace, and the calm of joy. Not many people can say their instruments made website home pages, magazines, and America's Got Talent. Its something im proud of accomplishing, and im happy i gave it my best swing.

But, alas, the time has come for Blackworm Instruments. After my comissions books are finished, I will be too.

Its been one hell of a ride, and I stand by having the greatest clients in the world.

Its been a hot minute since ive carved an end heel by hand.

Usually, like most people with common sense, youd have the belt sander handle that end grain and leave enough room to clean up the burning of sanding end grain.

I dont have that common sense, or money to buy said sander. But I have hand tools, and time.
