I will be teaching this pop-up weaving workshop tomorrow at Gallery 224 Port, Washington! Drop in between 5:00-8:00 during Witches' Night Out in Downtown Port and make your own weaving using book pages, fiber scraps, and foraged elements. The workshop is $30 with all supplies included, or purchase a take home kit for $15. No registration required, while supplies last. Lavender lemon moon cookies will also be available for weavers to enjoy during the festivities!

Needle felt this Summery beachscape with me tomorrow at 1:00 at Gallery 224 in Port Washington! Use hand dyed wool and foraged elements like shells and Lake Michigan driftwood to create this small fiber art wall hanging. No experience is necessary for this class introducing felting basics. All materials are included, but bringing your own personal touches of beach-found small objects such as sea glass or shells is encouraged! This class creates a work of fiber art about 4x6 inches and will take approximately 2 hours. This workshop is geared for ages 9+ and the cost is $40. Space and supplies are limited so registering is encouraged, you can save your seat by emailing [email protected] or here:

Here is a close up of the needle felted beachscape you can learn how to make at Gallery 224 this Sunday at 1:00! While the workshop includes everything you need to make this coastal creation, I highly encourage a walk along your favorite beach to forage for any natural embellishments of your own, whether sea glass, driftwood, shells, or stones!

My goals this year is are to host more in-person workshops, hopefully some right in my own garden, and to begin working on a children’s book illustrated with needle felted characters. If you’ve created with me before, you might see yourself in some of the featured past projects!
