From now until Halloween, we'll be hiding Maskers stickers around town and dropping clues about where to find them. Each sticker found counts as a free ticket to Into the Terror-verse: A Sci-Fi Haunted House (plus who doesn't love a free sticker?)!

Du, a right-to-life activist, and Keely, a pregnant r**e victim Du is confining, transcend their circumstances and the ideological issues that separate them. This production is a mind-probing issue play with a gripping human face. Who is accountable? What is the extent of individual freedom? What are a r**e victim’s rights? What are a Christian’s realities of procreation? Their passionate stories exist on the extreme edge of everyday reality.

Theatre Nouveau announces THE BRIBE OF BREAD, A TRAGICAL COMEDY FOR SERIOUS PEOPLE, a new play by Suzanne Ramczyk, performing at our theater from October 2-11.

Three characters from three different centuries of dramatic literature - Lady Bracknell from Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, Mother Courage from Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage, and Sir Fopling Flutter from Sir George Etherege’s Man of Mode or Sir Fopling Flutter - are locked in a room together to perform a task dictated by an unknown, unseen despot. When accomplished, the world will be devoid of centuries-old and modern classics of the theatre.

Wilde’s wit, Etherege’s social satire, and Brecht’s political critique collide as the characters engage in verbal volleys in order to confront their fate by appeasing the tyrant – or not.

Directed by Ramczyk, The Bribe of Bread features Lisa Stathoplos and Cory Burns (both recently seen in Theatre Nouveau’s A MODICUM OF GUILT) and Sally Mills (seen with Burns in Belfast Maskers’ BELOW THE BELT).

BOOKWORMS is back tonight for its second and final weekend!

This month’s Book Club hostess Ann is struggling to stay calm, desperate to deliver the perfect evening of literary classics and late-night canapés. But when the all-female group invite their husbands to join the club, and a mysterious figure pays a visit from an upstairs room, everyone is forced to contend with a lot more than just Virginia Woolf.
