How to complete your cords and make them look professional.

In this video, I demonstrate how to complete the ends of your cords to give them a professional look.

I’m using 20 gauge dead soft copper wire that’s cut approximately 5 inches long. The cord I am using is 2mm in diameter and I typically cut my cords about 19 inches long if I want an 18 inch cord for my pendant.

The tools I will be using today are my Bead Smith bailing pliers at the 2mm diameter barrel, Beadalon chain nose pliers, and Xuron flush cutters.

🪐Planet in Orbit Earrings with Amethyst🪐

Hello everyone!!

Please see below for wire and bead details.

These handcrafted earrings were done with 20 gauge dead soft Vintage Bronze plated copper wire. Two 3mm round copper beads were used in this design along with one 8mm round amethyst bead. The fishhooks are made with the same wire and harden with a nylon and chasing hammer.

These were made with my Planet in Orbit necklaces in mind. The smaller bead (amethyst) did make them difficult to make but it so was worth it.
