Through the years of producing team ropings with my late husband, and continuing that journey today, we have experienced both support and criticism from many directions. Through it all, we have always chosen to stay focused on honesty, integrity, and treating others with respect.
Super 6 was created to give ropers a fair and honest place to compete-and place where people can have fun, sharpen their skills, and have the opportunity to win cash and prizes while being part of a positive community.
More importantly, Super 6 continues in honor of Buster Wilcox and the legacy he left behind. He was more than a talented roper, more than a husband, and more than the guy who called everyone several times a day. He was a man who genuinely cared for people, who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, and who believed strongly in fairness and doing right by others especially within the roping community.
That same vision continues to guide Super 6 today. We are here for those who want a fair place to rope, compete, grow, and succeed. We deeply appreciate every roper, spectator, and sponsor who supports us. Your encouragement, loyalty, and belief in what we do are what makes these events possible.
Super 6, alongside fellow local producers such as Carlos Jacquez and Luis Ramirez, remains committed to supporting the roping community and helping every roper have the opportunity to succeed.
We thank you for being a part in all of it.
