Empty Bowls event fills Survival Center with community support

I was excited to see that this year’s Empty Bowls event at the Amherst Survival Center was featured in the Springfield Republican / MassLive—and even more surprised to spot one of my bowls in the photos.

One of the attendees, David Ross of Amherst, chose my bowl and said, “I’d never seen one like that. A real work of art.”

That was such a special moment to read. It’s not every day you get to see something you made connect with someone like that. 💙
