✨ WE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! ✨

The Healing Arts & Music Festival is coming to Friendship Park in Abingdon, MD - October 02 & 03, 2026! 🌿🎶🎨

And we need YOU to help bring this beautiful vision to life!

This is more than a festival - it’s a gathering created to bring our community together through Healing, Arts & Music, while creating space for connection, creativity, wellness and joy.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, kind-hearted volunteers who would love to be part of the festival family and help with things like:

🌿 Event setup & breakdown
🎟️ Guest check-in & welcoming
🎨 Art & creative activities
🎶 Supporting performers & programming
🧘 Wellness area assistance
📍 General event support & wayfinding
📸 Helping capture the experience
💛 And so much more!

Whether you can give us a few hours, a full day, or both days, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Tonight, we invited our entire festival community to come together and help us capture a little piece of the magic we’re creating for the Healing Arts & Music Festival. ✨

Some couldn’t make it, and the rain may have kept us from being on-site at the festival grounds, but it certainly didn’t stop us from gathering, connecting, laughing, creating, and capturing some beautiful moments together.

Because this is what it’s all about:

Community. Connection. Creating something meaningful together.

A HUGE thank you to our friends at Das Bierhalle Bel Air for giving us a place to gather and keeping us sheltered from the rain. And an even BIGGER thank you to everyone who showed up tonight and helped bring this vision to life. 🙏✨

For those who couldn’t physically be there,
you were deeply missed and we held you in spirit. You are part of this festival family, too. 💛

We are so excited to introduce one of our Wellness Practitioners, Gloria Carbaugh, who will be on-site of the Healing, Arts and Music Festival Saturday October 03, 2026 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm offering her Aerial Yoga experiences!

Meet Gloria Carbaugh - ERYT200, RCYT, Certified Aerial Arts Instructor Gloria

Gloria is a yoga and aerial arts instructor dedicated to empowering others through mindful movement, strength, and personal growth. Since discovering yoga in 2012, she has embraced a path that blends physical practice with healing, self-discovery, and emotional well-being.

As a trauma-informed teacher, Gloria creates welcoming, inclusive spaces where people of all ages and abilities can build confidence, cultivate self-awareness, and reconnect with themselves. Her extensive training in yoga, aerial arts, restorative practices, child wellness, and trauma-informed care reflects her commitment to safe, compassionate instruction.

We are so excited to introduce one of our Artists, Sonjé Gejji, who will be on-site of the Healing, Arts and Music Festival Saturday October 03, 2026 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm running the festival tie dye station! Find Your Rhythm & get crewtive with our on-site merchandise tailored to you!

Meet Sonjé Gejji - Artist, Atelier Sonje Atelier Sonje

Sonje, has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Specializing in natural plant dyes, they transform thrifted clothing into one-of-a-kind wearable pieces using techniques like tie-dye and paste resist to create beautiful, organic patterns.

Be sure to stop by their booth to explore their handcrafted creations, and join them at the Community Tie-Dye Station, where festivalgoers of all ages can get creative and make something of their own.
