🤠 HONORING A TRUE COWBOY — GENE RICE 🤠

Some men leave behind memories. Others leave behind a legacy.

Gene Rice was one of the founding members of the Beggs Round Up Club, and rodeo wasn’t just something he watched—it was a way of life.

He wore many hats in the rodeo world and added
a whole lot of grit into the sport he loved. 🐂🐎

The photos below are just a small glimpse into the cowboy he was and the life he lived.

This year, we are proud to honor his memory with the Gene Rice Memorial Rodeo, September 25th & 26th at the Beggs Round Up Club, followed by the SOJRA Finals on September 27th.

Come out and help us celebrate the life of a man who helped build the rodeo tradition we continue today. Bring your family, bring your friends, and come make some memories with us.

Gene may be gone, but the legacy he helped build still rides on. ❤️

The Round up club is super excited to start having more events! I know they have had a bunch of help revamping and doing some work to the arena!

Our queen and Princess in the grand entry last night!
Super thankful for our girls being there in the heat and having smiles and cheering on all the littles barrel racing!! If you hear girls yelling back there it’s definitely them! Little do they know these little girls are looking up to them!💙
