Beecher Part-Time Players is a 501c3 theatre group. We serve Beecher and the surrounding communities

The Beecher Part Time Players do more than just "put on shows". We like to offer our creative talents and resources to the community and surrounding areas in any way we can! Singing

Our members with lovely voices sing for many events and organizations in town. Each August, during the community festival "Party at the Point" hosted by First Community Bank & Trust we always sing a few musical number

s. We also bring joy and comfort to our local nursing home whenever they request us for a special event. Several other organizations in the town call on us during the holidays and for other events whenever they need us to "Lend them a Tenor"! Scholarships

Beecher High School seniors that intend on pursuing an education and a career in Fine Arts we offer a $500 scholarship each May. Any Beecher High School senior can apply for the scholarship if they intend on attending college to study theatre, music, art, journalism, etc. For more information on applying for the scholarship and the deadline, feel free to contact our secretary. If there are any programs or ideas you have on how the BPTP could help to entertain the community, please let us know! Contact one of our officers or better yet attend one of our monthly meetings every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the Beecher Community Hall on Penfield. If you have any skills that would serve our little group, let us know, we would be more than happy to have you join our theatre family!

Sophia brings creativity, energy, and heart to everything she does. Her choreography helps bring the music to life and gives our performers the confidence to shine on stage. From big group numbers to the smallest details, Sophia’s work adds movement, personality, and magic to the show.
We are so lucky to have her talent, patience, and vision as part of our production team.

🎭 THE BEECHER PART-TIME PLAYERS PRESENT OUR FIRST EVER ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL! 🎭
We are looking for actors ages 12+ to join FOUR original one-act plays, each approximately 20 minutes long! Whether you’re brand new to theater or a seasoned performer, this is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people, and perform in original productions right here at the John C. Dean Memorial Theater.

"Anderson Has Been Murdered" by Ethan Mohr
"groundhog play" by Gwen Docter
"Mr. Buttons" by Mike McCarthy & Maria McCarthy
"Sheriff Randy's Misadventure" by Hayden Mohr

✨ No experience necessary
✨ Straight plays (NO musicals)
✨ Opportunities for both new and experienced actors
✨ Actors may be cast in one OR multiple plays

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts, so no prepared monologue is needed!

📅 Show Dates: July 17th & 18th
🗓 Rehearsal days and times will be determined after auditions based on cast availability.
