I finished a pretty large commission last night and let me tell you... I'm relieved. Any time someone gives me free reign it is nerve-racking in some ways.

Will they like it? Did I completely go the opposite way of their vision?

One of the many reasons I don't usually take them on these days.

But this one, the idea was great and I wanted to tackle it. Pics to come in the next few days.

Oh, Happy First Friday also!

Good luck to everyone setting up somewhere tonight!

Well, I applied for Creative Renewal. I was pretty burnt out during the last round and tried to manifest getting it so hard. I was not chosen. A month later I was in the hospital. A month after that the studio closed down.

So, this time, if I don't get chosen let's just leave it at that, universe. Please. Or.....let me be selected. That would be infinitely awesome.

Either way, I hope by some magic that everyone who applied is chosen. We all could use some renewal.
