This is a fun design because, not only can you color it, but you can turn it into a craft too! It makes a great activity for Sunday School, VBS, Bible camp, and/or a mission trip.
All you need is a pair of scissors, ribbon, a drinking straw, and some tape

After taking a little break from drawing, I'm just starting back again - and it feels really good! :)
I made a New Year's Resolution this year to draw two new coloring designs every month - and so far, so good!

Each design is hand-drawn on standard card stock paper and a good ole #2 pencil - nothing fancy.
After I draw it just the way I want it, I ink it in black marker, scan it, clean it in Photoshop, print it, color it with colored pencil, take and edit photos, and list it online.
By the time I do all of that, I have 6+ hours invested in each design.

Now that I'm getting older, gripping the pencil is harder on my hands and joints (especially the coloring part).
One of these days, I might have to learn to draw on a computer, but for now, I'll just have to keep pacing myself.

I get so excited when my doodle designs are purchased all around the world! Last week I got to add Cape Town, Africa, and Qatar to the list of places my doodle designs have traveled. The thought of children around the world coloring my doodle designs gives me goosebumps and makes me never want to stop creating them!

I love a coloring contest - especially when a Doodle All Day coloring design is used
Principal Heather Cooley of Horizon Prep School in Rancho Santa Fe, California held a 'Cooley Coloring Contest' and was kind enough to send me photos of the winning entries.

Today is National Coloring Day!

I've been selling my Doodle-All-Day designs online as digital downloads for about a decade now.

Since most of my designs contain verses from Scripture, most of my clients are Sunday School teachers and Children's Pastors.
I love it when they send me photos of happy little people coloring a design I made. And I get the biggest kick when missionary friends send me photos of children enjoying them from far places!

I started my small business, Doodle All Day (D.A.D.) shortly after my Dad passed away. I draw in memory of my earthly Dad and for the joy of my heavenly Father.
