This is the last week that the present show will be available to view at the gallery. Here are some more of the paintings that are in this show. Hope you can get by to see it before they’re taken down.

The Lawrence County Art Association Wiley Art Gallery will be open the same day as the Limestone Capital Half Marathon and 5K

Registration for the annual Limestone Capital Half Marathon, 5K, and 1-mile walk is officially live! All races will start and finish in front of the Milwaukee Depot on the corner of 14th and J St and include a challenging course that only southern Indiana can offer. Enjoy music and more before and after the race. Commemorative participant shirts and medals for all three events.

The Limestone Capital Half Marathon and 5K is on Saturday October 3, 2026. It includes the following events: Half Marathon, 5K, 1 Mile, Ainsley's Angels- Pushers/Runners 5k, Ainsley's Angels- Riders, and Ainsley's Angels- Half.

"From Bedford to the World" is an exhibition of art by Julia Zollman Wickes (1948-2024), who grew up in Bedford, Indiana (Lawrence County). Opening reception is from 4-7 on August 29th, 2026 at the Lawrence County Museum of History, 929 15th Street, in Bedford Indiana.

Julia's art will be on display at the Lawrence County Museum until October 31, 2026. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil, ink, similar media.
Maximum 3 entries (space permitting).
Large artwork over 36" may be limited to one entry.
