We feel it’s necessary to keep our loyal moviegoers informed of the urgent state of our movie theaters as we go through these uncertain times.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put movie theaters like ours at risk of going dark for good. From small independent screens to nationwide exhibitors, movie theaters employ over 150,000 people and have formed a cornerstone of the American experience for generations. Without swift action from Congress our theaters could close forever, depriving audiences of the magic of movies for years to come.

Together, we can urge Congress to keep movie theaters alive until they can fully reopen. Visit saveyourcinema.com to tell your legislators that you demand action to save local movie theaters now.

Beckley Music and Drama Troupe, Inc. will be closing our theatre doors after 5 years effective June 30, 2019

Though our doors may close, our hearts will always be open to the wonderful students, parents, helpers, performances and hard work that made us who we are.

I will be creating a closed member Facebook group for those members and supporters (past and present) so we can stay up to date from Florida on all of the wonderful achievements that are no doubt coming in the lives of our talented students! I will let you know how to join the group once the page has been created!

Final performance for this year’s Beckley Music and Drama Troupe’s Mulan jr. will be today at 3pm. A great way to spend an afternoon with your family indoors! Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Doors open one hour prior to the show. Location WWHS auditorium. See you there!!
