Year After Year

I promise to build your tree with the same care and respect I've built mine with. I started researching my family history when I was 12 years old, around the time my papaw (grandfather), died. After he had passed, I started looking through my mamaw's (grandmother) photo albums and I came across a picture of a woman I didn't know. I asked my mamaw if she knew her, and she had told me that it was he

r mom, Bessie Kathleen Linkous Griffith Gunnoe. So my interest to know more was already pretty high when I came across another picture of a man and a little girl. I asked my mamaw if she knew them as well, and she said of course, that it was my mother and her grandfather Ibra Leonard Moses, Sr. That year, I began my journey to build my family tree. Well, as the years progressed, more and more branches became unraveled. Jones's, Gunnoe's, Moses's, Taylor's, Hurt's, Garrison's, and the list goes on. I found many pictures, documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates along with war records, censuses, and so much more. Currently I have over 4,000 people in my tree along with over 200 photos and over 100 records. But as I said before, I look forward to building your family tree.
