Our Story
In 1989, Shirley first opened The Glass Slipper to give her fellow dancers a local destination for an unrivaled selection of dance shoes for men, women, and children, as well as accessories and apparel for any style of dance. In 2014, we opened a location in Beaverton due to all the requests we got from the West Side dancers seeking their own convenient place to shop! We have three locations total and a reputation for helping dancers discover the perfect items from some of the most trusted brands. Whether you’re just starting ballet class or you’re a professional ballroom dancer, we’ll walk you through your options and help you discover the best item for you. And with our knowledgeable, hands-on staff around, you can count on always receiving expert advice personalized to your needs.
