For applications requiring a stock-type clutch, the Howe 82870 Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing is designed for OEM and OEM-replacement clutches with Saginaw, T-10, Muncie, and Jerico transmissions.

Fitment & Specifications:
• The 82870 provides .688" of total travel.
• Proper spacing is important. When installed correctly, there should be approximately 1/16" clearance between the bearing and clutch fingers.
• The 82870 does not fit T-5 transmissions without modification to the bearing retainer.
• Compressed thickness: 1.688"
• Extended thickness: 2.375"
• Total travel: .688"

Not sure which bearing you need? Howe also offers the 8286 for reduced-diameter racing clutches and the 82876 for T-5 applications.

Our salesman, Tyler, spent this past weekend at the sold-out World 100 at Eldora Speedway, catching up with some of our Dirt Late Model and Modified customers and dealers while taking in some great racing.

Howe components were well represented throughout the pit area, with most Dirt Late Model chassis in attendance relying on Howe Upper Control Arms and upper and lower Howe Precision Ball Joints. We appreciate the teams, builders and dealers who continue to place their trust in our products.

Congratulations to the drivers and teams competing with the Howe-chassis GTM cars in Súper Copa México following two strong rounds!

At SpeedFest in Mexico City, Paul Jourdain and Andretti-Jourdain Autosport swept both GTM Pro 1 races and took the championship lead.

In Chihuahua, Helio Meza and Alessandros Racing earned a win and a second-place finish, while José Arellano and Chevron Racing celebrated Arellano’s first GTM Pro 1 victory. Jourdain also left Chihuahua still leading the championship standings.

Congratulations to the winners of the V8 Thunder Cars event at Gelleråsen, Karlskoga Aug. 14-16!

🏆 Heat 1: Andreas Nilsson
🏆 Heat 2: Charbel Jomha
🏆 Junior Class, both heats: Linus Holgersson

Nilsson was the weekend’s overall winner, leaving Gelleråsen with an extended championship lead heading into the season finale at Mantorp Park in September.
