Position: Artist Relations Manager
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (Work From Home)
Location: Remote (Based in Myanmar)
Compensation: Base Salary + Attractive Commission per Onboarded Artist
Overview
We are looking for a talent-driven and tech-savvy Artist Relations Specialist to discover, connect with, and bring talented musical artists, songwriters, and creators onto our music platform. You will be the bridge between our App and the artists, ensuring their music reaches our audience successfully.
This is a 100% Work From Home (WFH) position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while building valuable connections in the music industry.
Responsibilities
- Artist Outreach: Actively scout and reach out to independent and established artists via social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram) to pitch our App.
- Onboarding Support: Assist artists with the registration process. If they are not tech-savvy, you will responsibly handle and upload their tracks and content onto our platform on their behalf.
- Contract Management: Handle initial contract discussions. When a deal is finalized, you will be required to travel to meet the artists in person to facilitate contract signings.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong, professional, and long-term relationships with artists, responding to their queries and supporting their needs on the platform.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using social media networks (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) for networking and talent scouting.
- Passionate about music and well-versed in the local music scene/artists.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently without regular office supervision.
- Tech-savvy enough to manage music uploads and guide artists through app features.
- Willingness to travel locally to meet artists for contract signings when necessary.
